Arashi Kaze Iwagakure| Yonbi Host | Genin 
A red haired boy walked into the arena. He looked around, and quickly examined the battle field. 'Okay.....' The red haired boy thought. He had gotten into the dome easily. How did he get lost and end up in a match? Oh well, might as well make the best of it.
This boys name was Kaze, and where was his opponent? Oh well. "Hmmm. Wonder who I am fighting actually...." Kaze said. He wasn't going to hold back on this guy. He hoped his opponent would do the same. Kaze took a deep breathe. This was going to be intense. Very, intense. Though, the cheering fans didn't help....At all Kaze was anxious happy.
Kaze looked up at the sky. It was...Normal. Kaze, continuing to calm himself down...His hair was long and red, with a bit of yellow or green at the tip of it. He had a black shirt that covered his chest, and pants that were black. He had a black over coat that covered less than his shirt did! It covered his neck and up to his elbow. It was white, with the occasional black and gold. He had a brown belt, with a silver belt buckle. He had brown gloves, with gold at the rims. And a leather loop on both gloves.(Ignore the sheathe and sword for now). He had black shoes, same color as he pants and a grin that would show he has developed a plan! "Life, my name is Kaze." He said with a grin.

He couldn't believe that he was asked by his older brother to enter this stupid tournament. He should be out hunting...instead he was entering a rather large arena and participating in some sort of tournament. He didn't have time for this...but his brother asked him to...so he'll do it. Stepping inside the arena, he tipped his straw hat upwards as his hands move the cloack behind him. The flowing cloack was as black as night with red clouds all over them. He was Akatsuki...and he will deliver his justice to the corrupted.
Seeing his opponent, it was a red haired young man, and by the looks of it he seemed pretty laxed. Bowing respectfully to him, he removed his hat and added it to his bow. "Good afternoon...it would seem that you and I have been destined to battle. Any terms of engagement?" Saito asked respectfully. Even to his opponenets, Saito was a man of honor...a man of justice, and with his tonfas he will deliver his Aku Soku Zan. Though he seemed relaxed at the moment, Saito was eyeing his opponent carefully.

Kaze sighed as his opponent came into the arena. His opponent was calm and collected. Well, that was Kaze's guess from the man bowing. His cloak and hat were pretty cool. "G'day." He said, responding to the mans good afternoon. "So it seems we are destined to battle." Kaze then smirked. "Terms of engagement...Oh. Don't hold back. At all....Hmmm, and let the best man win." Kaze said.
Kaze looked at this mans figured. 'I have a bad feeling about this..' Kaze thought. Kaze then made his way over to the Dunes. "Oh. One more thing. I think we should introduce ourselves before we start." Kaze said as he moved his hair out of his face. "Names Kaze Arashi." Kaze said. He was looking for an awesome match.

"Saito Hajime..." he responded as he placed his hat over his head. "An honor to meet you Kaze Arashi," he told him as he watched him move over to the dunes. That area...it was particularly windy over there, and though his own wind jutsus would be powered up, why would he move over there? Regardless, he would stay in the same spot and just watch. His left hand which was hidden from view because of his robe began forming a series of seals slowly in order to not let Kaze know that he was doing so, that he was already preparing a defense to whatever it was that he was planning. "The honor making the first move goes to you," he stated simply.

"Saito Hajime...." Kaze said. "Nice to meet you." Kaze's smirk then turned into a very large grin. "This first move is mine you say? Haha." Kaze said. He was trembling. He was so excited and anxious. This was going to be flipping amazing. Kaze's left foot turned slightly. In that moment, it almost seemed like he vanished.
[Speed Ninja - Activated]
Kaze began circling around Saito at incredible speeds. After a few seconds of circling this guy, Kaze went back to his area in the dunes. 'I see...' Kaze thought. He had thought of a plan, well, he had a plan from the beginning, but plans changed. Kaze reached into his ninja pouch, which was on his hip, but, it was covered by Kaze's jacket. Kaze quickly rushed at Saito, and stopped mid-way from where he was, and threw one light bomb, then quickly, jumped backwards, just outside of range from the dunes.The light bomb then went off, unleashing a bright light. 'Now, follow up..' Kaze thought. He reached into his pouch on his hip again, and pulled out three shuriken and threw them at Saito. Hopefully, it was hit Saito, since he might've been effected by the light bomb.

Saito was indeed impressed by the shinobi's speed. He was indeed faster than he was, but speed wasn't everything. This shinobi was either extremely confident in his ability, or severely underestimating him, or both. Regardless of the reason, Saito knew now that he was fast. As he began running towards him, Saito brought out the hand that just finished the seals as his other hand reached into his pocket. He had assumed that he was going for a straight attack, and now the only way to keep up with his speed was by using the wind.
He had not anticipated his opponent stopping mid way, but saw that he threw down a small sphere..a light bomb. The light was too bright, as if you were looking directly at the sun. But despite the fact that he couldn't see, he was going to proceed with his own plan. His arms was already out as he muttered the incantation "Okuridashi Kaze," just as he threw down with his other hand a smoke bomb. The bomb exploded in front of him as the area directly in front of Saito was covered in a thick smoke that not even himself could see through. As the smoke filled in front of him, Saito loosened a short blast of air from his hands, enough force that he was launched backwards and flying into the forest across from the dunes. Now the shurikens that Kaze threw at him, although he wasn't aware that there were thrown at him, he was able to dodge them on pure luck and the increased speed from the propeling winds.
The propeling winds added another affect besides sending Saito hurling into the forest. It pushed the smoke straight at Kaze. Now although Saito couldn't see because of the bright light, Kaze wouldn't be able to see because he was enshrouded by the thick smoke. Saito still had his arm outstretched as he brought it to his side, touching the bark of a tree in the process. Hiding out behind it, he decided to simply go into stealth and hide out in the forest, maybe get the jump on Kaze. It would be incredibly hard for Kaze to find Saito, especially that he managed to go into the forest while obstructing Kaze's view with the smoke. (Stealth Ninja-activated)
Okuridashi Kaze (Propelling Winds)
Description: Loosing a short blast of air from their hands, the user is able to propel themselves in the opposite direction with considerable force. This jutsu is ideally suited to Wind ninjutsu specialists, who often tend to favour avoidance of attacks rather than powerful defences, and can be used to either move very quickly to the side, or even propel themselves quite high into the air.

As Kaze was Saito throw down a smoke bomb, he thought that the shurikens would miss, which they did. Kaze was then shrouded in a thick smoke. It had seemed like...The smoke bomb from Saito, made its way over here. Kaze was surprised....Smoke couldn't do that....Could it? Either way, Kaze was now blinded by this smoke. He didn't panic, because he was too anxious about this whole thing. "What was that, Saito?!" Kaze shouted loud enough to have his voice boom through the whole arena. Kaze then took two steps back did sighed. Kaze then decided to run straight forward, hopefully to get out of the smoke.
If Kaze made it out of the smoke, he would just stand in the area between forest and dunes. Kaze looked around...Where did Saito go? 'Where did he go...' Kaze thought. He looked over to the lava pit, 'Not there... He then put his attention to the river,'Thats a possibility.' Kaze then looked at the Dunes.'No...I was just there.' He thought as he looked to the forest. 'I don't see him there...' Kaze thought. Kaze then decided to stay calm. Kaze then analyzed the area, thinking of where Saito would be now. Kaze then decided to sit down, and cross his legs. He was looking around for Saito, but, still didn't see him. "Don't tell me, you ran away, Saito?" Kaze said.

Saito was still blinded from the light and not exactly ready to face his opponent. So he figured he'd simply let someone do the fighting for him. Forming a series of seals, Saito formed two wind clones in front of him. The wind clones knowing exactly what to do stepped from both sides of the trees and rushed at Kaze from the safety of the forest. The wind clones rushed at the unsuspecting Kaze as they launched their fists respectively at him.

Kaze was sitting down as he saw the incoming two clones. Kaze was by the dunes, looking outward. So he saw the clones come from the forest. 'There' Kaze thought as he reached into his shuriken pouch. He then sighed, he pulled out two shuriken, and threw them directly at the head of both of the clones. Kaze would then quickly stand as after he threw the shurikens. He would then jump backwards 3 feet, so he was now fully in the dunes area.
'If he's in the forest.....' Kaze thought. Kaze shrugged. 'C'mon, Saito." He said, tauntingly. Kaze sighed once more. His opponent was probably planning something, but Kaze couldn't see him. What a bummer. Kaze thought it would be an all-out match. Turns out not. Oh well. "Saito! C'mon, this is supposed to be all out!" Kaze shouted angrily.
Though, Kaze wasn't so stupid as to just charge into a 'forest' while his opponent was hiding. Not the best idea.

Saito's eyesight had returned finally. He would now be able to fight at his best. Killing some time with those clones was indeed a good idea. Peeking over the forest, Saito dashed northwest as he picked up a rock in the process. He leapt over the water as he landed on the ground between the two rivers, then he leapt over the next part of the river and entered the forest to the north without making a single sound.
Hiding out at these forests, Saito threw the rock in hand into the river, creating a loud splash that was heard throughout the area. Kaze would no doubt hear the splash of water and would be on guard even further. Taking out his tonfas from beneath his robe, Saito prepared himself for his attack.

Kaze scanned the area for Saito, but, saw nothing. "Stop hiding ma-" Kaze said as he turned to the river, where he heard a splash, which only made Kaze put his guard up more. Kaze was still in the dune area, not very far from the river actually.
Kaze sighed, but kept his eyes peeled. His opponent was crafty, and sneaky. Making them polar opposites...To a degree.
