Notice: The last update of this guild was: April and May Donators. Top Donator list.. Welcome to the lair of the dreaded spelling Nazis.
We will correct you! Our old HQ((We are not true "Nazis." We do not hate people of certain religion, race, creed, or sex. If one takes offence to our name at first glance, we apologize. No insult is intended- unless you don't use punctuation.)) None of us are perfect with spelling or grammar. We just try, and we do our best. Nothing more, nothing less. As we don't have perfect grammar, we don't expect you to either. Trying is the keyword here. Some us are lazy, but we aren't that lazy. We don't mind people coming in here and starting a decent and intelligent arguement against our stand, but if you are rude to us, remember, this is a gathering of the bunch of us and you may be overcome by our sheer numbers. Thank you for your time and interest. On a further note-Stupid posts with horrid spelling will most likely result in a flame session. Also, those who do not read the front page will be submitted to the same process. Keep this in mind if you are posting as you will receive no other warning. Special thanks goes out to the following people for donations in order to make this guild exist at this current time: (I forget your offical names, but, you all know who I'm talking about.) Robin: 1,600 gold. Yenearsira: 2,000 gold. Chibi: 1,500 gold. Tanabe: 3,000 gold. Twilight: 4,900 gold. Sweet: 5,000 gold. Verna: 2,000 gold. And, thus, the total 20,000, which was enough to buy our part in the Guild Network. As for everyone who reads this who just joined: Welcome to this fine establishment we have here, but, I need to forwarn you now. Want to Join?Verna Silverwing I believe Tanabe said this in our original HQ. I've modified it a little, to fit my topic. Tanabe Kaida Reconsider if this is the right guild for you. Spelling Nazis are very passionate about seeing that the English language is used properly. The odd misspelling is ok... Do you hate it when people use leet or netspeak? ...or when they don't use commas or punctuation? ...or when they use inappropriate shorthand? ...IF so, then this is the right guild. sweatdrop Sweet Revenge Still thinking about joining? Great. Just fill out the application. New members are always appreciated. Just one thing, mind you: put the word "dubloon" at the end of your reason. Why? To prove you read this. Your application will be denied if you don't have this in it or if there is a large amount of spelling and grammar errors. To further influence motivation to stay in the guild after one has joined, a new Entry Fee has been added. We deeply apologize for this action, but the Administrators of the guild feel as if if someone pays to enter a guild, then they should be more active within it. Because, face it, no one wants to give away gold without getting something in return. Sailor_Chibi Also, please take a note, we do not mind all abbreviations that people can understand. Everyone uses them; it's perfectly natural, especially on the internet. Such as BRB, NM, GTG, LOL, etc.... It's the abbreviations that you have to stop and think about that are annoying. Someone brought this up at our old HQ during the very start, so I thought I'd say something now.
