Standing at the edge of a cliff, Cpt. Lance Regen looks down through the mist, there seems to be no bottom to the drop...

"I must truely be at the edge of the world.." Lance mutters under his breath.
Streaching his wings, feeling the cool breaze between his rough, battle-hardened feathers. Shouts out into the wind;
"Where is my opponent!? I have nothing left to loose! Come now, and FIGHT!"

...

The wind dies down, and the silence seems almost defening.
Lance feels the presence of someone aproching... He spins around and looks hard into the misty air before him.

"Speak your name! But skip the formalities... from now on, we are but enemies."

"So. Leiko and Hiro, is it? Are you ready for our battle?
Try and catch me if you can..."

With one swift movement, Lance spun on the tip of his feet, boots grinding on the gravel atop the rocky cliff and dived off into the misty gloom...
Seconds later, soaring up to a magnificent hight where he held steady and cautiously watched this delicate girl down below to observe her in every detail, looking for a weakness.

"I hear you speaking to this 'Hiro', but I fail to see him. Are you trying some sort of sneak attack?
I'd like to see you try with me being up here out of your reach... But I guess i'll come down if I must...
I'd hate to be out here forever without getting a fight."

Lance starts to decend, almost reaching the ground when he notices the blue aura forming around Leiko.

"What is this? Some kind of magical shield? It is not an energy I have previously felt from an opponent.
You may be more interesting than I first gave you credit for..."

A grin spread across Lance's face.
"Now that is interesting. Some form of spirit controlling anothers body? And I've never had the pleasure to battle someone like you before... This will indeed be a learning experience.
Now if you're ready, get set. For out here, I have the advantage of this great sky at my back."

With these words, Lance surges up and dives at great speed toword the ground. With a few feet spare, Lance levels out and heads straight for Leiko.
As he closes within reach, he snaps his wings out at full span and swings his legs under and up, slamming into Leiko's chest with as much force as he could manage...
He wasn't about to take any chances with this Hiro, even if he was in the body of such a delicate looking girl.

With swift movement, lance jumped and back-flipped into the air as the orb of engery smashed into the ground. Leaving a crater where he had been standing...

"Oooo-kay... Unexpected, but then again, it pays to expect the unexpected. And I am more than trained for the capability of air-battle.
After all, I was a Captin of my own Paladin squadron."

Lance powered towards the hovering figure, ready for the brutal impact of melee combat. His arm already streached out behind him, ready to take a swing.

A bit dazed from the spin, Lance landed on his feet and crouched down.

"This is gonna be tricky... I'd better get a helping hand..."
"Evocatio Ensis Exsequens!!" (Summon 'Executioner's Sword')

At the call of Lance's enchantment, the sky darkens and a crack of lighting strikes the ground in the distance...
A swirling mist forms at Lance's feet and a blade of dark silver materializes and rises up. Lance reaches out to the blade and the hilt fuses around his hand, forming an inseperable bond.

"With this blade Leiko, or Hiro I sould say, as you are in control I presume? I am able to manuver like an extention to my arm, and highly agile such as myself.
It also posseses a power, unexplainable even by me, which enhances it's strength. Making it almost indistructable.
Let's see how it fairs against your power..."

Lance slowly stood up... What's the point in rushing if his apponent waits for every move?

"I see that you must be using some sort of pure energy for these powers you display... Flight, projectile orbs, and now a solid weapon. I am highly impressed.
Now let me show you my other trick..."

"Το σθμβολαιον διακονετο μοι, βασιλισκ οθρανιονον! Ηεκατονκατισ και κηιλιακισ αστραπσατο 'Κηιλιαρκοθ Αστραπε'!"
(Heed the contract and serve me, lord of the heavens! Charge my weapon with a 'Thousand Thunderbolts'!")

The sword on Lances arm started to glow... Faintly at first, but building into a blinding flash! The blade, at first a dark silver, now shone bright white. Electricity crackling along to the tip.

"I bet even you will have trouble dispelling all of this next attack! You may feel a slight tingling sensation..."

Lance launched towards Leiko, ready for any attempt she made grab him again.
In a blink, Lance ducked down and flew under Leiko, spinning back up and around to face her back where he plunged his sword between her shoulderblades, sending 100,000 volts directly into her core.
