I will be working a lot now for a summer job. If any one needs to get a hold of me, it will have to be either really early in the morning or late in the afternoons. Just to let everyone know!

I am a janitor for a company called FMC. I will make $20 an hour. I am so excited. Not to work but for the money.

WTF ? $20 an hour ????
I take care of people for a living & administer medications/narcotics.
I feed individuals that can't do it themselves & wipe a** alllllll day long. As well as give suppositories.
I get paid half that.
God Damn You.
And I Officially Hate My Life Now That I Have Actually Read What I Do.

Yeah... Don't feel bad... You can only get hired out at FMC if your daddy or daddy-in-law works out there, and you can only be a summer hire if you meet that prerequisite condition on top of being a student... Plus, its a plant... everyone at a plant gets fat paid... or at least around here.
I mean, a while back I worked as a laborer makin 13.95 for an individual contracting company called Turner Industries. Then, when the plant had a shutdown, I was makin 15 an hour, but it was 12 hour days, 7 days a week, so 4 hours into the 4th day I was on overtime. My first check for a week was 1500 or so. Gross, of course, take home was only 1200 or so. I bought my PS3 biggrin

I think we're the step before the morgue. I work for MaryHaven.
Like the 52 year old I take care of with Sundown Dementia, who doesn't remember that she ate dinner 10 minutes ago, so she screams constantly. .
And I'm just waiting to come into work one of these day and find her dead after all the ******** Seroquel & Lorazepam we give her to go to sleep.
OR the guy that chases us around, grabbing & ripping our clothing, so we end up stripping down just to get away from him, just because he wants to listen to music, but he keeps smashing his radios so we have nothing for him to listen too.
I'm going to go to school for Mortuary Science, hopefully next year.
And I think I want to start taking EMT classes in the fall, maybe.

The only perks are the benefits.
Being I work for Catholic Health Services, the health insurance is amazing.
I could walk into an ER and not have to pay anything.
