The female Satyr had no idea how or why but she now had this toddler to contend with. Not that she minded, she had two other children but they where from some place she could easily locate and define. This little bundle of dirty blonde hair was a bit of an unknown to her and thus Luis had no idea what to do with him other than care for him.
Thus she spent all day going shopping for the toddler while she left her oldest two children in the park for they could easily fend for themselves and knew better than to run off with strangers. She needed the toddler with her so she could discern what size of clothing he wore, though he seemed less thrilled at the prospect of being made to change out of the furry mess he insisted on wearing even as the weather got a bit warmer. He loved that jacket and the furry boots that came with it and nothing Luis could say could convince the boy of anything else.
Luis brought herself and her ... son to the coffee shop. She bought him a cookie and a bottle of chocolate milk while she got herself a nice chamomile tea and a cinnamon scone and they both sat at a table close to a window so that Robin could peer at those wandering outside by the shop so he wouldn't get quite so bored.
Robin picked at his cookie and stared not just out the window but around him in a oddly calculating manner...

Umbra walked into the coffee shop, her hair curled into tight ringlets and hanging down to her butt. She was wearing a pair of white jazz pants and a backless gold tanktop that tied around the neck.
(IT WAS TOTALLY HER IDEA.)
Walking up to the counter, her tail swishing back and forth, the catgirl asked for an iced mocha. She could handle the coffee.

At most Robin glanced over at the newcomer as she wandered toward the counter and got her order. As far as the boy was concerned he was infinitely more awesome looking - he had the fuzzy coat of awesome on today, of course he was the greatest thing ever - and thus he turned his gaze away to return it back to his cookies and delicious drink. Thus far this was a pretty sweet set up. The redhead gave him food and stuff whenever he wanted it (usually) and he didn't have to do much for it.
Luis watched the boy as he gazed at the newcomer and watched the smug expression with mild amusement, "Yer prol'ly thinkin' somethin' unkind and prideful. Y'should stop that b'fore it bites ya in yer arse, kiddy."
The boy blinked at his guardian and snorted, "Sooooooooo?" came a childish retort.

Umbra twitched as she felt the gaze on her back. Moving to lean against the wall, sipping her coffee, the catgirl leveled an intense stare at Robin.

Luis didn't seem to notice that someone was staring at her charge as she continued to quietly lecture him about being not so full of himself but Robin certainly noticed! He might be a toddler, he might also be a lot more carefree in personality, but he didn't appreciate being stared at in such a manner that it felt like it was burning holes into his person.
A soft sigh passed the boy's lips as he held up a chubby hand and wave at the staring figure before he said, "'Chu lookin' at, bathead?"
Obviously he had no problem speaking his mind.

"Don't stare at me," Umbra simply replied, unusual eyes half-lidded. "I find it very uncomfortable." She took a long sip of the iced coffee, tail waving restlessly.

Robin bristled a bit at that as he rolled his eyes and looked away from her once more quite pointedly, "Not starin'. You tha' one starin', bathead," he responded curtly not really caring about the disapproving looks he got from his guardian.
"Child, yer gonna be the death o' me. Stop bein' so outright rude," the red haired Satyress chided as she sipped at her drink and watched her charge with a bit of a furrowed brow.
"Not bein' tha roode! She is!" He replied at his parent defensively. If anyone expected the toddler to speak in poetic turn of phrases would be sorely disappointed.

"You were staring at me!" Umbra shot back. "And stop calling me bathead!"

Robin put his hands on the table and stood up on his chair almost knocking over his drink. His lips were pulled into a frown as he retorted, "I didn't stare at you, BATHEAD. I gots betta things to stare at," he sniffed and lifted up a cookie, "like dis! Dis is way more interestin' than yoo are," he sneered.
If that wasn't a cue to pluck up the kid and flee the area Luis didn't know what was. She stood up suddenly as she moved to pick up the child with a small frown as she gazed over at the young lady, "Awful sorry miss, still in the midst of teachin' the lad some manners. Please don' think too badly o'him," she murmured as she moved to leave with the wiggling toddler in her arms.
"I'M NOT SORRIES. I'M NOT SORRIES AT ALL," the toddler fumed angrily.

Umbra twitched, eyes widening as her mouth opened to bare sharpened canines. Then she snapped her mouth shut. Bing! Robin had just discovered one of the catgirl's invisible berserk buttons: 'Bathead.'
"You could discipline him," she offered, voice underlaid with that threat of horrible death. "Seems like the kiddo needs a reason to listen to you." She did mean it, definitely; if she'd had the ability to do it and no fear or punishment, the catgirl would have strangled the little kid in a second...
