In recent years a debate has cropped up around the world - to use bottled water, or not to use bottled water? Many places are attempting to ban the use of bottled water, citing environmental reasons. One such place would be Bundanoon, Australia. There the citizens voted to remove bottled water from store shelves “hoping to protect the earth and their wallets” (Australians Ban Bottled Water, 1.) The arguments against bottled water are endless, but the real question is this; Why are there so many movements recently to discourage the consumption of bottled water? My answer is simple. The movements stem from other recent environmental movements, most notably, the ‘go green’ movement.

Bell sighed as she looked down at the report she was writing. She was taking the time in which schools had closed to catch up on things. Okay, so she had been using her senshi hiatus to do so too, but UGH! English was one of the tings she had been putting off to the bitter end.
It was hard to concentrate though. She still wasn’t sure what had happened. What had happened to put so many people into a coma? Was it the Negaverse’s fault? Bell bit her lip. So many senshi had been taken out of commission by the event. Bell knew she was needed now. But she was so scared. She turned back to her paper:

"It [bottled water consumption] causes 60 million plastic bottles A DAY to be manufactured, transported and then disposed of in U.S. landfills. It's killing our planet, and for no good reason..."(Eric Olsen, BottledWaterBlues.com 1.) It doesn’t matter how many little technical issues are brought up in the debate for or against bottled water, it always comes down to this. Bottled water has to be manufactured - factories cause pollution. Bottled water has to be shipped - more pollution. Empty bottles are then thrown away and left to fill up our landfills where they will take anywhere from five hundred to a thousand years to biodegrade. So I’ve come to my conclusion that in the end the bottled water debate is, indeed, a Green issue, and its up rise stems from the growing popularity of that movement.

Ugh, she was so bullshitting this report. Oh well, the teacher would be doing good to get anything from her in this state. She just wasn’t in a place to work right now. Worry gripped her mind, thought ran rampant, and fear choked her heart. It hurt. So bad. Sometimes in her nightmares she could recall the feeling of having her starseed ripped out of her. Could feel it in that Tisiphone’s dark clutches…

“One more paragraph, then I’ll take a break,…” Bell said to herself, but couldn’t think. Instead, she got up and walked over to her balcony, and looking in the direction that was ground zero for the coma victims. An abnormally cold wind blew her way, and she shivered. She wanted to know what was going on so bad. Maybe….maybe it was time to visit the coma ward. Tallulah was there. That was reason enough.
