I know that there are many recorded sightings of fae kind. I know the big one was the cottingley fairies which was later admited to be a hoax. I was randomly watching youtube video's online and stumbled across these 2 videos.

now I am very aware that these are more than likely fakes but I thought it was interesting none the less and thought it may be a good topic for this week.

Hmm...

Well, the "Gnome Scares Soccer Kids" video is definitely a fake. If you watch closely in the upper left corner of the screen during the video, you can see a shadow of someone pulling on a string to make the gnome move.

As for the "Gnome Sighting in Argentina", that one is a little harder to debunk. The video quality is less than perfect. However, their capturing video of the gnome seems rather suspicious...why on earth would you be recording a conversation with your friends about a fishing trip? To be doing so and then "coincidentally" capture the gnome on video is more than a little fishy. I would like to know why they were recording their conversation first. It's quite possible it might be a sort of marionette like the first one was. Still, I have to admit that this one was much more realistically done if that's the case.

I know they're both fake and completely agree with you that the second one is harder to debunk. The only reason I am very aware that this is fake is because the same kids made a second video and they're dancing this time. Obviously is staged but at the same time it looks too small to be a real person, even a little person. Although that is more than likely the case. It's probably someone who is very short and further away than they like to make it out to be.
