 Noir walks around the flower bushes, picking the most vibrant and beautiful blooms. He slowly makes a pile of the flowers and lies in them, enjoying the smell and texture. With all the colors he is practically camouflaged from the world. He sighs and watches the sky.

Andromeda wandered from her family, they were starting to drive her crazy and it was already starting to make her want to bite someone simply to get some attention. Instead she had decided to go for a walk and clear her head, perhaps even think about a few things.
It didn't take long for her to get far enough away that she started to relax, she loved her family but her brothers were known for trying to control her -something she would not accept from anyone else. She could smell freshly picked flowers, the juices from their stems flooding the air, looking around she saw a pile of them. How strange? Why would someone pick so many flowers and simply abandon them. Deciding to go and explore she walked closer to the flowers, closed her eyes and took a deep breath to enjoy the aroma. It was a symphony of smells and colours.

Noir hears a sound. Carefully he peeks around the flowers and watches a female fox walk towards him. She looked stressed. Awed he completely stilled so not to scare her. She continued to walk closer and he sunk down farther into the flowers. She seemed not to see him. This close he could see the gold markings around her bright pink eyes. He continued to stare at her, but she didn't see him at all.

As she took another deep breath of the aroma the flowers released she caught the sniff of a scent that wasn't a flower but animal. Opening her eyes in suprise she looked carefully at the colours and was shocked to see soft purple eyes look back up at her.
Taking a step back, a soft rose flush filled her cheeks. How could she not have known someone was there? How stupid could she be? Frustrated at herself she spoke to the owner of the purple eyes, her voice revealing none of her frustration. "I am sorry for disturbing you. I didn't realise anyone else was here."

Noir smirks and sorta sits up, "No problem, female. I was just enjoying the flowers." He jumped out of the pile of blooms and shakes petals off of himself. Then he piles the flowers back up again, "So what's with a female out her all by her lonesome?" He licks his paw and bathes his bright colored fur. Hiding his smirk, "Shouldn't you have an escort?" He circles her, "Yes...young, slight, fragile-" under his breath he says 'beautiful', "female."

Watching him a little curiously wonder if there was anything she would be able to hide that would camaflaged her so well? It was doubtful with her pink eyes and saddle, other wise she imagined she would be good at hiding in the dark like her brother Locke.
His words instantly ruffled her fur the wrong way. 'Female'.... was that all she was to this arrogant colourful fox? As she would ever need an escort, she would bite the head of anyone who you tried. Despite her building rage brought on by his obvious examination of her -for reasons she could only guess- she could have sworn she heard him call her beautiful, although she highly doubted it. Cocking a eyebrow impatiently at him she spoke, "No I do not need an escort. And my name is not 'female'" she spat the last word out before continuing, "it's Andromeda."
Deciding to see if he liked being given the same treatment she began circling him. "Definatly male, pigheaded, arrogant, but with delicate female markings..." she couldn't resist tormenting him simply because he had done the same to her. "....nothing speacial." She added with a roll of her eyes although she had to admit that she didn't entirely believe that even if she had no intention of letting him know it. She knew what sexist men could be like, as far as they where concerned females where creatures who bore children and stayed at home all safe while they where protected by a man. That was just something she wouldn't accept, she was too free spirited -plus after being brought up with seven brothers and only two sisters made her feel like she was one of the boys. And experience had taught her that to give an inch would have them taking a mile.

Noir smirks and stares her down, "Female markings? Hm. Male, yes. Pigheaded, maybe. Arrogant, sometimes. But female and delicate? Defiantly not." He circles her again, getting so close he rubs up against her a few times, "You should be nicer, Andromeda. Do you normally make terrible first impressions?" He flicks his tail and walks away from her, "The name's Noir by the way."

She forced herself not to react as he rubbed himself against her while he circled her yet again. Afterall he wanted a reaction -something she wouldn't give simply out of stubbornness. Shrugging her shoulders she ignored most of his rant and simply replied to his comment on first impressions. "Nope. Just to those who rub me the wrong way."
Andromeda hated anyone thinking they where better than her simply because she was a girl. Yet as he walked away from her and told her his name she felt a little confused. Why had he bothered? Before she could stop herself she said, "Nice to meet you Noir." She was brought up better than to simply be aggressive and judge those from first impressions, regardless of how they treated her in return.

Noir smiles, "Maybe I'll see you again." He looks at her seriously, "Never be ashamed, Andromeda. Being female isn't an insult....unless your male." He laughs and walks away slowly. Surprisingly he was wishing she would follow him. He liked her fire, her playful bitterness. Shaking his head, he tried to clear his head. He'd played this game before, no one was able to climb the emotional wall he constructed around himself. Maybe it wasn't time for change, only time would tell.

Andromeda couldn't stop herself from smiling too, and as he started to walk away again she found herself following. Perhaps it was just from habit -after all she would often follow her brothers after fighting with them. Perhaps it was simply because he stuck up for himself, she liked that. A spine was definatly a good quality to have.
Her paws padding softly with each graceful and very femine movement as she almost danced towards beside him. "I'm not ashamed." She beamed proudly, it was true. After all in comparison to her seven brothers being one of three sisters made being female almost special, she just hated the way some thought she was weak simply because she was female. Something she wouldn't allow. Deciding that the Noir wasn't as tough as he tried to appear she decided to tease him somemore, this time in a friendlier way. "Plus you're just jealous. You wish you looked this good." And with that she skipped ahead of him, wiggling her bum with each swaying movement before looking over her shoulder and giving him a little wink.
After a little while she added, "So where are we going? Its not like I am going to let you insult me and run." She stuck her tongue out at him simply to prove her point.

Noir smiles, he enjoyed Andromeda's company. He was even happier that she followed him. His eyes were glued to her as she skipped ahead of him. Shaken from his daydreaming by her teasing, he nudges her side, "Riiiight." He looks her over, "Although I am jealous considering the face that you will never look dirty." To prove his point he trips her.

Andromeda knew she should have been on guard for such dirty tactics having been the target of her brothers practical jokes and games for as long as she can remember. But it was too late to think about that now, she was already stumbling face first into the ground..... until she did a front roll and landed sitting on her bottom, a think layer of dirt and dust now coating her fur and saddle. She had to admit he was right, bar her obviously dirty pink saddle she looked pretty much like she always did. Snapping her teeth at him to show him that she didn't appreciate the trip she pulled herself to her feet once more. "Cheater," she mumbled under her breath before turning to face him. It was tempting to taunt him after her indignifed roll in the dirt but all she could come up with was 'rainbow boy' and that was hardly imaginative. So she just said, "Happy now?"
Deciding this was a fight she probably wouldn't win she sighed and moved to his side again, this time much further away so that she wouldn't be tripped over so easily. "You never told me," she started -almost through gripped teeth as she tried to control her temper. She had been bested and she knew it. "Where are we going?"

Noir admires Andromeda as she recovers from his trick. She was very graceful. He continued walking, "I never said I was going anywhere." He sighs, not like he had anywhere to go. He doesn't look at her as they walk, "So I take it you have a few siblings. You certainly recovered quickly."

"Fair enough." She had just assumed that he had started walking that he was going somewhere, but maybe the truth was he was trying to get away from her? Yet somehow he still seemed to be talking to her -despite his little tripping trick- was being pleasant. Deciding to just shrug it off she focussed on his question.
"Seven brothers and two sisters." She gave him a soft smile, but it didn't quiet reach her eyes. She loved her siblings, or most of them at least. And their mother always said that it was good there where so many of them simply because it meant that they would always have each other. Yet Andromeda never seemed to really get on much with her sisters, prefering the company of her brothers instead. Locke was mischievious and playful and Shade was always good to practise her hunting skills on..... maybe she should have been born a boy? Before she even had conscious thought of thinking it she said, "I fight with my brothers a lot so you have to recover quickly or they laugh at you." She regretted saying it almost as soon as she spoke, turning to look at the scenery rather than at Noir- if he called her fragile again she was sure she would bite him.

Noir watches Andromeda, "I see. Sounds like it's never dull at your place." He rubs against her, "Sounds like fun. Never bored, never alone. Plus I guess it just shows they love you." Noir gets really quiet. He doesn't look at her, "I really make you stupid for leaving them."
