History: Born and raised in Malvren Weyr, Richt's original goal as a Weyrbrat was to Impress a dragon like all the other kids his age. Running around often playing dragonrider or dragon (depending on who won the rock toss), it seemed as though his destiny was already set and his future job was fairly predictable. . . until the day he happened to see a dolphin down at the beach. The mammal was working with its partner and was searching for something, whatever it was Rizz (as he likes to be called) has long sense forgotten, and the boy instantly felt his heart get taken by the sheer grace and beauty of the dolphin. Quite possibly bothering the sheer wherrydung out of the Dolphineer that day with endless pestering questions, it was then that Rizz decided he didn't want a dragon anymore - he wanted something he knew he'd be able to obtain much easier - and something that he could work on an equal level with.

Finding out through questions, answers, and general snooping, the young man made his way to the Dolphincraft Hall and has stayed there since, working to better himself at the craft until the day he can have a partner of his own and go out into the waters of Pern. He still has some fancy dreams about dragons though he long has passed with wishes of riding a dragon in the sky, believing and knowing that a dolphin is just as useful in the waters - if not more so.

Description: Tall, toned, and gifted with a swimmer's tan, Rizz looks like the typical Dolphineer Apprentice. His skin is healthy and covered with freckles from spending his days under the sun and out on the water, his dark black hair streaked with turns and turns of natural sun-kissed highlights; his black eyes are bright and merry in his face.

He hardly wears clothing, seeing as it gets in the way when he works in the water, Rizz sticks to swimtrunks or tight pants - anything that fits snug and doesn't drag/weigh in the water. He doesn't like shirts, they limit how much people can see his body.

Personality: Rizz is pretty loyal to his lower half, loving the company of others in his bed on an almost daily basis. Sexually active from a fairly young age he's had quite a few partners, easily wooing others with his boyish good looks and easy-going personality. It doesn't hurt that he looks like he's about sixteen turns old, as if he'd stopped aging past that point in time. A little complexed about how looks so darn young when he wants to be respected as a growing adult, he actually will use his looks as a weapon - so don't let him fool you into thinking he hates looking boyish. Showing no heavy preference in terms of gender in his partners, men and women are both equal and very welcome in his eyes and in his arms. His lusty attitude has gotten him in trouble once or twice when he pressed his luck against someone who didn't welcome his advances and he's walked away with a black eye or two on more than on occasion, yet generally he doesn't push himself on those that aren't interested.

Laid back to the point he doesn't try and let the common everyday problems bother him, which actually makes him seem somewhat aloof and uncaring, Rizz takes everything in stride and very seldom lets it get under his skin. If it's something that's beyond his power to fix or out of his control for obvious reasons he simply lets it go its course before he even comments on it, though if he has the ability to make something better for himself or others he may step up and try to fix it - if he or someone he's fond of (or currently wooing) benefits heavily from it. He is very opportunistic and jumps on things that are easy to obtain, though he won't go out of his way for thing...unless it involves dolphins.

Despite (or in spite of) having such a laid back attitude, Rizz is very, very dedicated to his craft. Devoting as much waking time as he can/as he is allowed learning about or working with dolphins, the young man is probably at his happiest and friendliest when he's in the water surrounded by the aquatic mammals. It's possible for people to speculate that he would actually pick spending time with a dolphin over spending time with a person (he actually has, to keep rumors correct), and he isn't above defending a dolphin's reputation over that of a persons. The only time Rizz has been shown getting slightly agitated, not aggressive, is when someone badmouths something that could become his future partner.

Other:
- Rizz has a reputation as being something akin to a "man whore". Despite being rather infamous for his sexual exploits there doesn't seem to be much hate in his actions (or the general opinion of him), as he actually makes an effort to keep in touch with those he's slept with - some are even attempted to develop into relationships (even if they don't work)

- It should be noted that if someone wanted Rizz to do whatever they asked of him - threaten a dolphin/threaten his time with dolphins. He's willing to do almost anything to stay with the mammals, so long as it's nothing horrible or...intentionally injuring to others
