From beneath a weeping willow, light pink eyes stared out over the terrain. He'd somehow lost his way back to where Zigana said she would be. The ebony male with the crimson pattern sighed, thinking himself to be quite a bother for having not enough sense of direction in order to pave his way home. Not only that, what was worse was that he really could not ask others for directions, who could understand him after all? With a snort he lifted his rump up off the moss covered ground, weaving his way through the random bushes that popped up here and there along the way. When he came full circle back to the willow tree once more he sighed, “Wherz ama jouan?” (What am I doing?). With a heavy sigh, his body slumped more than usual. He had tried to at least find something familiar to follow and instead had only wound up back where he'd started moments ago.

He longed to return home, to be where Zigana had said she would be. Yet he'd only been there once to the place she liked to visit. At least she did not scorn him as others had in the past and she had allowed him a place in her court, even though it was on the lowest rung of the hierarchy she had outlined. Still he'd been the one to choose that position, what else could he do when he could not speak coherently, not even good enough for people to at least get the gist of what he was saying. Taavi had been able to guess, but he didn't know where he was either. He missed him too, but he had made a vow to follow Zigana. She didn't completely understand him either though, which made conversation tense and drawn out, when they had other things to do, so he rarely spoke, though he longed to converse with others.

Ayishsaisair.” (I wish she was here.) He tilted his head back to stare at the sky, it was growing late, she'd probably begin to wonder where he was. Yet no matter how late he was, she did not seem to grow angry. She was quite tolerant, but what if someday that led to a problem. What if one day, something happened and he was to late to help, that was the most worrisome thing of all. He'd finally found a place he could belong, but with always getting lost, he wasn't of help at all, but he was not about to run away because of his inadequacy. Once he gave his word, he kept it.

The pale colored wolf moved carefully through the trees, listing to the whispers around him as they urged him forward and called them back all because he could hear them and they knew it. His pale eyes drifted over each and every one of them, his silver pendent with a golden tree of life hanging from the thin silver chain around his neck. His only true connection left besides his half sister and and full sister of his mother's old pack to which his half sister now reigned over as Queen.

Delicate paws felt a faint disturbance up ahead as the trees around him snickered and whispered to one another about a strange wolf mutter gibberish. Gibberish...such a strange thing for a wolf to do, curiosity piqued faintly he looked up to the trees willing them to tell him where, reluctantly they gave him direction and off he was leaving them behind moaning him to stay clear of the fool. He ignored them, the trees those at times wise were a group who looked down upon many of the creatures that wandered among their midst. As he grew closer he could hear the last of the mutterings from the odd wolf, pushing his face around a large bush he watched the male for a moment and tilted his head. Instead of approaching directly he instead sat back for a moment and watched, waiting to see if the male was laden with madness.

He say nothing in the lines of insanity as he watched, just a flustered wolf that seemed slightly defeated. He took pity upon him, but not in the sense that many would find an insult. He stood carefully and with ornately patterned paws stepped out of the bush pushing out a voice from the very foliage around them bringing his own words to life without actually using his own voice. "Hello..." it whispered gently.

Qaletaqa let out another weary sigh, displeased with himself. His difficulty in communicating was annoying enough, but to become lost so easily was just ridiculous. With his right paw he batted irritably at a blade of grass, as though it had offended him. The grass though, was never lost, because it did not have to move and it was surrounded by other blades, family and friends. It seemed to him that plants had an easier life, because they didn't have to travel or hunt. Nor did they have to worry he thought, about meeting up on time with someone of important status. Although, had he thought about it more, he would also have realized that plants could not really defend others physically, or run away in case of danger like a fire.

"Ayopnoosingerrpentrhr." (I hope nothing happens to her). He didn't believe that Zigana had gained any enemies, but if she did they would also be his enemies. She was like a friend, but also to him, a leader, whom he was proud to follow. Although her ways he found strange, always singing or dancing. It was somewhat amusing, better than fighting and bickering though. Yet he had to wonder what a stranger might say if they came upon a scene where Zigana danced with that thing she always carried around with her. She had called it a tambourine. It did make an interesting noise, but she was quite possessive of it, the only thing she'd allow no one else to touch other than that purple thing around her neck. Although he did not wish to offend her by laughing, but just thinking that somehow soothed him and made him chuckle. She was so carefree, perhaps that's why she never scolded him for being late.

Startled, by the utterance of 'hello', since he hadn't even been aware that someone had approached by sound or scent, he jolted up. "Ersdar?" (who's there?), "Herw?" (Hello?). It hadn't been a familiar voice, and he was a bit weary of strangers, not all of them were kind nor understanding of his problem. He didn't have anyone with him either to help, just in case it was someone of a hostile nature. He hoped though that this encounter would not end in tears or shame. Although it had been only a whispered greeting. Maybe, it would be alright, but it was better not to let his guard down... yet.

He had not meant to startle the other, so he sat himself down just in front of the bush and tilted his head faintly as he watched the male. Partially surprised the other had not turned to search for the source of the voice, but with the way Sonyu often 'spoke' it was hard to ever truly tell a direction from which it came from when it seemed to really come from all around. Though the males speech was jumbled and distorted Sonyu could understand him, being his gift was communication, able to speak with any who could not speak and give voice to those who had no voice from which to speak. Though he used the gift quite sparingly.

He kept himself relaxed, listening to the bush muttering behind him he gave it a silent chastisement and continued to watch the other with his dark pelt and interesting red markings. For a moment he was reminded faintly of his elder half-brother Rain, King of his pack, but this wolf was the very opposite of Rain and his harsh personality. But again he spoke through the forest in the whispered voice, so gentle and calm. "Hello, I am Sonyu." he said a small smile spreading over his pale maw. "If you just look behind you, you shall see me." he bowed his head a little as he waited for the the other to turn around. But the looks of the males ongoing distorted speech it was an impairment of sorts. He figured it must have been hard on the male to communicate with others. though he had a voice himself Sonyu had always had trouble communicating with other, refusing on most occasions to speak unless he truly say a reason to raise his voice and truly speak from his own maw.

He mulled over who this 'she' was the the male kept talking about to himself, hoping 'she' was all right. If there was a mate or family involved he wondered if there was a possibility that this female was lost as well, the two of them separated like his own sister and her mate. Now that he thought about the male somewhat reminded him of Raco as well with his dark black pelt. He almost chuckled at the thought but refrained himself from doing so, now was not the time for shenanigans.

He'd been to lost in his own thoughts to realize the direction the voice had come from. It had been only one word too, and sometimes it was better not to look another in the eye. He'd learned that some time ago, because there were those who took it as some sort of challenge. Yet he was not the type whom would go about challenging others, at least not those whom he'd only just had a run in with and had never met before. Although he was not prone to violence, he had always done what was necessary in order to protect himself and others who might have been in the line of the cross fire. It had been some time though since he'd run into anyone who wished to maim him for whatever reason.

With a blink, he slowly turned around as the voice came again, from behind him, reconfirmed by what the other wolf said. "Herw, hrruu?" (Hello, who're you?) No, he didn't feel like getting into a long discussion, not without assessing the other creature on the scene and their intentions. So far he'd been lucky not to run into anyone with anger management problems or worse. Yet somehow, the light and pale green wolf by the bushes didn't seem to be looking to start a fight. At least he hoped he interpreted that correctly, as he bowed his own head to the stranger in greeting.

Zigana was not really family nor was she Qaletaqa's mate. He would never dream of holding such an esteemed position by her side. To him she was just a friend, a leader whom he could follow without rancor or worry. Yet, because he was one of her followers, even holding the lowest title, he would protect her with his life, because she was just and wise in his eyes, if a bit silly. He himself could not sing as she, for his speech was so horrendous, nor did he have an instrument which to try and play. He felt silly when dancing too, but at least that was something he could do, but only within the areas that they frequented together during the meetings that were held. Due to her kindness and her treatment of him, he wished to make sure that she was always protected, out of duty, but more so out of friendship.

Smiling graciously at Qale he lifted his voice through the foliage again repeating himself. But this was to no matter to him. He was a patient wolf and always had been, even in his youth. "I am Sonyu Noritobe...you may call me Sonyu if you like." he said quite formally. It was by nature that he spoke in suck formalities, growing up as royal blood within his pack, b*****d child or not. The rest of his siblings had grown up faintly normal in the terms of parentage, but all the same, Sonyu held no grudges. If anyone held any animosity for the past it was Rain and even then Joshua and the others, sometimes including himself would tear their elder brother's mind from such angry memories. They were long passed the point of needing to hold great detest for their late father even though in the end he truly had wronged them all.

Small questions bubbled up in the Sonyu's mind more and more as he watched Qale. He had long figured the other to be an Omega, that was all to present in the way he held himself. First thing was first, he had introduced himself, now it was time to dig a little into the other besides watching him. "Now if I may ask, but what is that you are called?" he interpreted through the trees, hissing in slight anger at them again as they mocked the black wolf. He didn't believe it fair, he rarely spoke at all and yet they begged for him, this one merely had an impairment by the looks of it and they teased him like the runt of a litter.

There were times he wondered if he would ever get used to meeting others, because he found it difficult, often worrisome due to the various personalities that traveled about the same lands. There were many who were cruel, like the members of his birth pack, then there were those who were kind like Zigana and Taavi. Still it was difficult to trust strangers, because one never knew how they'd react. His panic at first often led to him not hearing things that were said, and that sometimes made matters worse rather than better.

Yet he heard the other speak, not out of animosity, though why anyone should feel that toward him he didn't know, but some had in the past considered his speech pattern not only a hindrance, but a sign of weakness. With a shaky voice he answered Sonyu's question. "Irm Qaletaqa." He gave a bow of his head as he introduced himself. His name was one of the few words he could speak properly, even though it was an unusual and for others sometimes difficult to repeat exactly as it was meant to be pronounced.

He'd begun to relax a little, no longer panicked over the stranger. Although he still worried about the one he had vowed to follow, even though he believed her to be of sound mind, he had no doubt that others might find her ways a little odd. Yet he was the one who usually got into some sort of fiasco, such as getting lost. He was also at a loss as to what else to say to Sonyu.
