†he whole picture

Øn the inside
I'm really a passionate Arc Aile agent at heart
I think a lot about mankind's path in this world.
In my spare time I work on my aim, catch a few flicks and try to keep it on the DL.
I struggle with keeping my temper in check and not jumping to conclusions.

Д little more
My color of the rainbow is silver.
I live by the words "The sword of Justice has no scabbard."
When I walk down through town I'm focused, polite and have no problem playing with kids.

₮he story of my life
    [Realization]
I was about ten when I have my first encounter with an Edel Raid. She was distraught when I pointed out the stone on her hand. She started to cry and then spoke to me. The girl told me to never tell anyone that I'd seen the stone. The look on her face broke my heart. Even though I didn't know why, I told I never would. To this day I still haven't.

    [Why she said that]
My parents were people very active in the community. Father was a town spokeperson and my mother volunteered all the time. They were vocal about their opinions and made it heard at meetings. They always told me what was happening. One day my father came home and sat down at the table looking very drained. I asked him what happened and he told me that a girl had been taken away from her family by bad people. I asked him why and all he told me was that she was a special person and many like her had the same experience in town before.

[I was fifteen] when my goal in life was set.
It was cool night in September. I had just finished my chores for the day and decided to relax. Out of the corner of my eye as I was lying on my bed, I saw a bright flash that lingered with an orange glow. It was a fire not but a few houses away. I knew that house and the people who lived there. I was frightened but as a soon to be man, I knew I had to do something and do it fast.
Before I knew it, I was out the door and to the well, pumping water into a wash tub and running towards the light. Many people had gathered around within a safe distance and stared in awestruck horror. An obviously drunk man was the cause of the flames, fire coming out of an odd weapon in his hands as he laughed. Who would do such a thing? What did he get out of hurting those people? Sufficed to say I was angry. That anger turned to frustration at the thought of me not being able to do anything and soon enough, I was enraged.
Nearly blinded by the tears, I took that tub of water. I got behind that man and without another thought dumped it on him, the flames of his weapon sputtering and burning out. All was quiet except for the crackling flames, the creaking structure. I stepped back, realizing what I had done but I couldn't back down then. I committed and I would face him like a man.
A flurry of lights surrounded us both and his weapon disappeared and in it's place was a girl. I was bewildered, she must have been an Edel Raid but as she collapsed to the ground, the man turned to me. He looked at the fallen woman and his face contorted into something I had never seen before. He was furious, looking at the girl as she struggled and cried out in anguish. Picking her up by the arm, he steadied her against himself and yelled into her face, "React with me! Now!"
She cried, head lolling back and to the side, "I can't.." she moaned. Tears flew as he slapped her, "Now b***h!"
She stifled her moans and latched onto his arm, shimmering lights surrounding her and the weapon appeared once more.
The man pointed the flamethrower at me and strained. A weak spark emitted and he punched the object, "What the hell are you doing?! Let's go!" Sputtering and straining, a few fire balls lamely fell out of the barrel and onto the wet ground. He yelled once more and a small line of flame shot at me. I ducked, tossing myself to the ground.
Then a moment later as I pulled myself to my feet, she was motionless on the ground and started to disappear just as she had reappeared in a cloud of sparkling lights. She was gone and I couldn't wrap my head around what had happened.
The man bellowed at the ground and slammed his fist where there once lie a girl. With unbelievable speed, he straightened himself, turned back to me and punched me in the stomach.
I fell to the ground, breathless and cradled my mid section, teeth clenched to keep from screaming but the assault didn't stop. He kicked me again and again, picked me up by my neck and punched me several more times.
"Look what you did, you little s**t!" Another punch, "You killed her! Now I have nothing! You're going to pay!"
Still gripping my neck, I started to lose consciousness but still tore at his hand until finally, I blacked out.

[I remember] that the sky cried that night.
I will never forget that awful night. The night when I nearly died and the night a girl, turned into a Sting Raid, disappeared and died herself. The night I was rescued by everyone else, brave enough to fight the man without his weapon. The night I promised myself I would never let something like that happen again to either Sting Raids or Edel Raids. The night I pledged myself to Arc Aile.

    [Enlistment]
At fifteen, I couldn't quite join Arc Aile and become an agent. For the next three years I researched the organization and who they protected. I practiced my aim with my father's pistol, my weapon of choice. I learned from the best agent I knew and became his apprentice. He was there the minute I applied, the minute I was asked for an interview and the minute I was accepted. By the time I was eighteen and a half, I was the agent to talk to.
I take my work seriously and I will never let anyone down.

ℳy last will and testament
I have vowed to never use power for my own personal gain. I will not harness an Edel Raid for the sake of winning. Never.
