Maybe everyone else knew this but me...according to one Simpsons expert, "South Park is Libertarian, even conservative."
Past the first few seasons, I haven't watched much South Park because it is too crude and I'm past the age when shock intrigues more than it repels. If anything, it was aligned with the Left as far as I knew...but, as an author was extolling The Simpsons and discussing how it is a basically Democrat show, with Lisa being the chief example (really?), he also mentioned the show's "offspring", Family Guy and South Park. (There was very little discussion of FG. Evidently too lowbrow for him.)
I would have ignored that book mention, though, if the same reasoning hadn't been on the radio a few years ago. A popular talk show host and his caller were snickering over SP being subtly conservative, and that the kids couldn't see it. Hmm.

I didn't know that either, I don't watch it. I did see the movie once a while back because a family member owns it and left it with me but I barely made it through to the end of it.

South Park is far too idiotic to have any real political message except the most obvious one... I'd like to see one example of South Park being libertarian, xP

I've seen clips from south park that seem to make fun of liberals, but it's just too stupid and perverted for me to watch regularly. I don't remember what they were, but... to youtube!

Well, this is certainly not conservative. I can't find the whole episode though, so I don't know the context. They do like free speech apparently. Including the kind that some people would probably call racist and offensive. Link1 Link2 Link3CNN coverage of link3 - I think it's funny that they actually counted. This one's funny.

Honestly, I think most comedy cartoons that poke fun at politics poke fun at both sides, albeit one more than the other usually.
