This area is open ocean, between islands. Please post here when travelling between islands on the Grand Line or when travelling between islands on the Grand Line and Calm Belt, or attempting to exit or enter the Grand Line via any area except Reverse Mountain.

Kravinoff sighed. He had spent the past day or so since they'd left Felsenheim amusing himself by creating small icebergs and watching them melt, but that had lost its attraction. Then he noticed another ship off in the distance, a dinky little thing.

Johann had been practicing discorporation and re-assembly, so that he could manage to stay in his human form longer before permanent discorporation. As he recreated himself on deck yet again he noticed a ship far off to their left. "Oh, damn."

Mizuki lounged on the crows nest, weaving herself a hammock to sleep in underwater. She heard Johann's curse breifly and peered down. "What is it? 'Cause if you're trying to 'pity love' me for an examination then forget it."
"There's a ship off starboard Captain,"
"So?"
On the other ship, Myra lounged lazily on her lawn chair when the private delivered the news. She looked half-heartedly at the tiny ship, and shrugged, "If they're an enemy ship, I doubt they'll do much good against Krav and me. Plus, that thing is down right puny. What's the hassle?"

Kravinoff looked up as the rating reported. "Oh, god-damn. Figures we'd have to get another blasted set with us. At least they seem sm- oshit. Not him."
Kravinoff said this just as the sail on the small vessel rotated into view, so that the slightly modified Marine logo was visible. Kravinoff clutched his head in his hands. "Not him, not him, for the love of God, please not him."

On his own ship, Johann had quite the opposite reaction when the larger vessel's sail logo became visible - a Marine seagull perched on top of a volcano. Isle de Volcan's logo. "Oh, goody. He's going there, too. Marine vessel off to port, helmsman. Be so good as to steer us into contact distance, yes?"

"Hey Munsehr, what's the big idea?" Mizuki called down in annoyance, "I thought we weren't taking any side trips."
"Oh hey," Myra looked with deeper interest at the ship, "It's Munsehr! We haven't seen each other since our days at CP9. And if I can hinder a guess," she squinted at the noisy fishwoman in the crow's nest, "That's his famous hellion of a girlfriend too."
She nudged Kravinoff lightly, "It'll be nice huh? Old buddies meetin' up for a drink. I'll rouse the cook,"

Johann grinned. "This is different. We're headed the same way, might as well hook up. And besides..."
his grin widened, and anyone who had entered a certain Fishman tavern on the Island during the past couple of years would at that point have run away. "...he owes me money."

"Munsehr!" waved Myra from the deck, shadowed slightly by her shaded hat and large coat, "Long time no see."

Johann grinned as he jumped over to the larger ship, the fifty foot difference in the decks not a problem for him. "not nearly long enough, I think, for your commanding officer, ja?"
Kravinoff looked at Johann with unconcealed distaste. "Indeed not. I will be below meditating should you need me, Myra."
He turned and stalked off, slamming the door to the lower portions of the ship as he departed. "Someone got up on the wrong side of the berg, yes?"

"Oh he's a pussycat compared to the attitudes of some others...like the assholes making me drag myself out to the HQ." Myra complained. She was used to, and often subjected to, the severe distaste between the two Devil Fruit users.
"Munsehr if that girl is some former broad of yours, don't tell me or I will lose all respect for you and punch you," Mizuki grumbled from the crow's nest. She hadn't left it, probably due to her irritation with leaving her underwater grotto and the leers of the crew. She'd never admit to envy.
Myra looked impressed at Mizuki. "Ahh, the famous Mizuki "Iron Waters". You really hooked up with a fishwoman?" Myra asked in interest.

"Me and Krav?" Myra looked confused, but amused, "No, no, he's just a drinking buddy really. We hang out on his little icebergs and enjoy wine. He occasionally tags along on my little pirate trips and that's it. Nothing major."

"Excuse me," Mizuki interrupted irritably, "But are we going to talk mushy gushy all night or are you going to feed us? Because we've still got to sail for a night before getting to your stupid HQ and I'm not going to wait on an empty stomach."

Johann turned to look at Mizuki. "These people are nice enough to let us use their very large, very fast ship, so please try not to hurt any of them while we're aboard, yes? Kravinoff may not act it, but he is an Admiral and could easily kill us both. And get away with it, probably."
