Background:
Carollyn was a normal girl, living in San Jose, Puerto Rico. She was witty, cheerful, and one of the most popular girls at her school. She lived in ignorant bliss for years - until her parents took her on a fateful trip to Japan.
The trip started innocently enough- like any normal vacation. But then, while venturing out alone one evening, Carol was attacked, and devoured by a Hollow. The last thing she remembers is a Shinigami showing up too late.
She was turned into a Hollow herself, and killed and ate her mother and father, whom had set up a search looking for their lost daughter. The girl- almost frivolously ambitious- devoured her fellow Hollow again and again- finally achieving the rank of Gillian. Now, Carollyn had always been stubborn- her personality reigned in the body of a Gillian- and again she ate her fellows until she achieved Adjuchas state. And even then, she felt empty.
Eating more Hollow, Carol finally became a Vasto Lorde, with her old form mostly returned to her. But she still felt unfulfilled.
When she came across Aizen, she was still devouring other Hollow and gaining her own strength. He transformed her into an Arrancar- and she finally felt like her old self again. Carollyn decided to devote herself to Aizen, and his cause- faintly, she remembered how the Shinigami had failed her- and developed a hatred for them that surpassed that of her fellows.
Most important event that still effects him/her: Being turned into a Hollow in the first place.
Why? It was the start of everything that she is now.

Zanpakuto name: Enigma
Zanpakuto sealed Appearance: A long, thick, wide blade that's almost as big as Carollyn herself, but she swings it around like it's nothing. It has a multicolored hilt and a metallic handguard that reflects different colors of light.
Resurrección: Appearance: Basically the same as her normal appearance, except with iridescent butterfly wings with a black bat-wing design near the top. Her zanpakuto simply changes to only the hilt.
Resurrección Release Command: Change, Enigma!
Resurrección Abilities: With Enigma, Carollyn is able to mimic the abilities of another zanpakuto, albeit at a weaker state. She has to have seen the ability firsthand as well. Enigma can also store information about previous copied zanpakuto, to be used in later battles.
