So I've been under a lot of stress lately because of school. Tonight it my "big" night. I have 3 MAJOR projects due tomorrow including a 16 page report that I haven't started yet. Not many of you know my work ethic, but since I am on an academic scholarship, I take my classes very seriously.
For the last 3-4 weeks, every night...from when I've gotten home to when I go to bed, including weekends has been devoted to work. Last night I look at my arm and my face.....Hives. My mother gave me some steroid cream to keep it down...n** it in the butt before it gets out of hand.
But...Hives...really?
rolleyes I would. rolleyes

Hives suck, I luckily have only had them once due to a mystery allergic reaction to something.

While your version is certainly kinkier, I believe the expression is "n** it in the bud." confused
I wonder if they can be stress-induced?

I wonder if they can be stress-induced? No, the expression is butt. Unless butt is too inappropriate for you.

I wonder if they can be stress-induced? Yes, you are correct, the original expression in indeed "bud" I just like saying butt. Fun Fact: a way to get rid of hives to to get a cortizone (sp?) shot in the butt. LULZ PUN. Yes, they are stress induced. Two ways to get hives: 1) allergy 2) stress I hadn't realized how stressed I was till I noticed my arm.
