i just wanted to drop a topic on good ring sets...

some of you might know that certain rings can be used in combinations so that a certain bonus is earned...

i mostly use:

Mantis, Shuriken, Dervish and Ghost
Meat, Bandage, Pot lid and defib

but my second most used build is:

Defib, bandage, wish and meat
Ghost, Pot lid, Iron will and teflon spray

while the first is play soloing, with good attacks and possible to heal my self, while pot lid and ghost is able to keep me safe for a long while, the second is more crew healing based..

so i'm asking what types you all have out there ???

I don't really have any buffs and I probably should work on getting some. What I'm using right now are: Mantis, Bandage, Fire Rain, Hunter's Bow, Diagnose, Defibrillate, and Meat. I also have used Shark Attack and that's pretty good. ^.^

Okay, I think I have Scaredy Cat. Although I'll need to update it. I need more orbs first. >.<

hmm .. just out of curiosity .. but,, do you know about ring "sets" .. you know .. that actually gives an extra bonus if you equip them in same slot ?? .. if you do .. then give a little review on how they work together razz xD

well .. i can say that out of the "ring site" .. i'm a generalist .. i dont have any bonuses on ring sets .. but i used to do ninja chef . (they've changed the sets !!! DAMN YOU zOMG!!!!!)

anyhow .. but i found that the extra dogde bonus (and i could almost rise it twice... damn ..) is extremly nice .. since i wouldn't be hit as often combined with Pot lid, which made me deflect most damage when they hit me.. Meat is there to help my max hp to be high (ALWAYS USE RAGE RANK 4!) and then knife sharpen to reduce enemy damage.. xD .. but they've added hack.. a great ring .. but it has to be on same hand .. so i cannot have a "buff" set and an "offensive" set.. sucks bogus .. anyhow ..

now to my ninja xD .. this is somewhat the best ring set i've been using cause it gives a slight bonus in dodge and accuracy.. nice !!. but they've changed the set and removed dervish ... (WHY GAIA WHY ??!!?!?!) and instead inserted divinty (the stamina rate increase ring) which somehow is nice to have .. but no aoe.. now we will be stuck with only two attack rings .. mantis, which is great damage over time... and shuriken which can attack multiple enemies at higher rage ranks (i have not confirmed that information yet..). needless to say, i found the dervish a gigantic loss for the ninja set.. anyways . back to the set .. divinity gives the stamina regeneration which makes it possible to fight longer xD .. and then ghost.. the ring that makes it all possible.. while already having a dodge bonus of 200+ (depends on max CL) ghost can make it go another 200+ (at rage rank 4 of course) thats a bonus of 400+ !!!! who will hit you now !!!

the downside effect.. you are not able to heal yourself.. thats right .. you cannot heal yourself, meaning that this set is not supposed to be soloing to much, but together with a healer (i did partly solo with this set before but i had dervish and i had teflon spray too... meaning aoe and defence.., and together with a healer friend of mine, Angel medic) anyhow .. this set is best combined to a healer, as it can buff with both pot lid, making some damage be deflected, and ghost raising dodge ability xD

Does that mean you can't get a dervish ring anymore? gonk scream

no razz .. dervish still exists xD . (i have one but i cannot use it in my ninja set, since it wont unlock the dodge bonus)

For me, my most frequent rings used are Fire Rain, Bandage, Divinity, Guns, and the remaining four vary.
