2 Corinthians: 10 (King James Version):
3) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds wink
5) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6) And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Vrs 3 "we do not war in the flesh"
Where does it say there that a man or woman of God uses his or her body to war after the evil one?
Isaiah: 26 (King James Version):
1) In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
2) Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4) Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
What shall we do then? Continue to cut oursleves in vein power and wisdom and not allow Christ to be our peace as he has lead us to be?
God forbid. I say that we will not allow this evil to run our lives. For there is too much of the truth in Christ right in front of us and to allow this evil to rule us stops the truth that is within us.
My siblings look at yourself and realize that you are more in Christ then you could ever dream. He loves you and that he is proud of you and for you to fall back as you have is to allow our enemy win.
We can not have that. You are greater then that in Christ.
2 Corinthians: 2 (King James Version):
8: Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
9) For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
10) To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
11) Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
For his greatness is our glory in him.
There is no real soft way to say this other then: Stop it! You are greater then that in Jesus our Lord and King.
