Character Name: Lucius (Lucy-us)
Age: Seventeen Turns
Sexual Orientation: Closeted homosexual “STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW” (so she claims, no not really she is a homosexual)
Craft/Rank: Wherhandling Craft/Apprentice
History: Ever since Lucius was a little girl, the youngest of two, Whers were a huge part of her life in Eron Hold. The Hold have several mines running about, filled with Whers (and miners), and it was through childish curiosity and exploring that she stumbled across these creatures. Instantly falling in love with the Whers, her reasons only known to herself, she spent many of her days sneaking from her home and out to the mines to spy on the beasts, much to the chagrin of her Metalsmith father and overbearing older sister.
Despite his best attempts to keep his daughter following a craft he preferred for her, a life he had laid out for her, Lucius did what she pleased until eventually the man caved and threw his support behind her. The feelings of her sister however were not in the young girl's best interests and the two often came to odds to a point where nothing either of them did towards one another was very good. Both had strong senses of will, with Michska's attitude towards Lucius teasing and somewhat cruel.
As turns passed the young woman spent more of her time in the mines with the residents within, learning about the whers and taking various notes on them. Her goal was to be able to have enough information ready so she could present her desire to go to the Halls and become an official apprentice to her father, something she took quite seriously. Michska did what she could during this period of time to ruin her sister's developing relationships with others outside of the mines, leaving the girl often alone when she wished to play with others in the Hold. Growing a bit jaded from being treated poorly based only on rumors, it only strengthened her desire to leave and pursue her dreams.
Finally reaching the age of fourteen, the acceptable age taken by the Whercrafthall, Lucius made her move to leave Eron for good and not return unless she had a Wher at her side. Her vows were made strong and she left harsh words to her family the day she properly left, though nothing she did or said she would grow to regret. It has been three turns since she came to the Hall and she has yet to have a proper partner of her own, yet there is nothing that is too far out of her reach. Excelling in her studies thanks to all of her notes and her time spent growing up amongst the miner-whers, it seems it won't be too long before an egg graces her hands.
Description: Lucius by all means is not average for a girl anyway, she is tall standing about five foot nine, with a well-toned muscular build. Slim at the waist but slightly broad in the shoulders, her arms are strong and lean with a healthy shade of honey brown. Even though she spent hours deep within the mines of Eron her natural complexion is a sweet brown even and fair not overly dark but just the right colour for a metal smith’s daughter (a tan almost seems bred into most smiths as it seems to Lucius).
Lucius keeps her dark brown hair in a long pony-tail that is tied trice. Once at the base of her scalp, once in the middle, and lastly at the end. The entire course of the binding is laced with red ribbon and fastened neatly in a small bow at the end. All the while she keeps her long bangs neatly to the sides of her broad face and jutting-jaw, neatly parted her hair seem to mask the low cheekbones set her in masculine facial structure.
The term pretty is seldom in conjunction with her name. Rather Lucius is described as mildly handsome, and tends to enjoy being viewed as a male rather than female. Keeping with this mindset Lucius binds her already flat chest and wears loose fitted tunics . Lucius rarely but when she does she tends to hided it behind slightly crooked fingers (middle and ring finger mostly, on both hands, genetic on her father’s side) and forces a narrow of her hazel eyes as if daring someone to mention it outwardly.
Personality: Driven and dedicated to her work, regardless of the task Lucius will see it through to the end no matter the cost. A bit overambitious and overzealous Lucius tends to keep her views and her desires to herself for fear of being judged by others. Her sister instilled that trait into the girl as far back as she can remember. A built up lack of trust of people from turns of emotional abuse from her older sister (and the fact her father never acknowledged it was happening) and a natural selfish disposition seems to be the key factors in Lucius and her ‘bully’ behaviours.
Even though she works hard to prove herself in her craft she suffers greatly from a superiority complex and tends to lash out at people that are undeserving of the mistreatment just because they are better than she is(in her eyes).
Quick to act out her emotions with snide remarks and vile glares Lucius tends to know better than to stay around her peers for fear of getting into trouble and keeps social business in as short of doses as she can possibly measure.
Awkward and bitter around people in general her outward demeanor only varies noticeably when she finds herself around women that are attractive to her. She loathes the way they make her insides flutter but she can’t help but act out in a boastful almost vain fashion as if trying to show off how much better she is than others and how much more deserving of their attention she is. Though when she acts up she comes off as egotistical and arrogant then simply saunters off knowing full good and well that a person of her preferences has no right to be in the craft halls. Especially trying to gain the attention of normal girls, in that respect she sickens herself and lashes out at the one person she can not get into trouble for hurting. Herself.
Other: In terms of 'hurting' herself Lucius forces herself to study for extended periods of time but not to the point of exhaustion, training her mental limits. Also the girl runs every morning and evening, a sort of physical punishment for her sexual perversions. Which also helps to keep her physically strong and limber.
Character Name: Lucius (Lucy-us)
Age: Seventeen Turns
Sexual Orientation: Closeted homosexual“STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW” (so she claims)
Craft/Rank: Wherhandling Craft/Apprentice
History: Ever since Lucius was a little girl watch-whers were a huge part of her life, in Eron Hold the place in which she called home; had several mines and with them the smaller ‘malformed’ dragons. Almost everyday when she was younger she would frequent the mines, much to her father’s continuous pleas for his younger daughter to be more womanly and stay at home like her older sister Michska, of course wanting to be nothing like her big sister the little scamp would sneak off for secret adventures to visit the whers and the miners.
When Lucius was about ten turns old she had earned a place of among the miners, the rough and tumble men and woman viewed her as there very own wher-aid, the rambunctious youth was always the one to tend to the whers if their wherhandlers would allow her, no matter how many lessons she had to miss the little imp would always help the odd dragons in anyway she could.
As much as he hated the fact of the matter her father, whom was a very popular metal smith decided that it would be best to support his younger daughter in her natural love for the creatures. No matter how many times he suggested going into beast craft or smithing like himself Lucius would hear none of it. Just like her mother whom was a trader, she too was infused with a sense of will, it was either her way or nothing at all. An attitude that very much got the little scamp into trouble, turn in and turn out. Only in age did her punishments seem to dwindle while it seemed her stubborn selfish nature exploded into an outright vile streak, the only difference between when she was younger was she now knew how to successfully manipulate people into getting her ways, the only person that never seemed to fall prey to her subtle yet devious lures was her older sister whom had Lucius wrapped around her finger much to the younger girl’s dislike.
Several turns passed and Lucius found a growing need to impress her sister, Lucius felt that if she could do that then maybe she would be able to reach her own personal goals. Yet no matter how hard she pushed herself Michska never paid the girl any sort of positive attention, in fact the older of the two girls often teased and toyed with her little sister, just like some handlers do to whers to make them jaded and hate people, the end result was something very similar to just that.
Attention starved by her family the still early teen left her troubles behind her when she entered the caves of the mines, around people even the miners she felt on edge and paranoid that they too would say things about her behind her back (it was a game Michska often would have the younger hold children do to provoke her sister’s growing mistrust in people). The only time Lucius truly was at ease and comfortable with herself as well as everything around her was when she was scrubbing the whers or simply listening to them vocally communicate with noises and grunts. It as one of her days of solitude and refuge with the ugly dragons that one of the handlers whom had know the girl for many, many turns spotted her, overtime the man had noticed her change in disposition and demeanor, but he also realized that when he saw her sitting silently watching the whers that Lucius was the same little girl she had been so long ago, there was still awe and wonderment in her eyes when she looked at the creatures. He felt a strong pain for the angst filled teen, he knew she felt misunderstood and by the way she held herself he could tell she was fragile and hurting emotionally, taking it upon himself to aid the girl he soon sent a runner with a message say that he had found a suitable person become a wherhandler and that she needed to begin her training in the craft hall as soon as possible.
To Lucius it seemed almost overnight that she was taken from her home and traveled to the nearest craft hall, she was not entirely enthusiastic about having to move to a large Weyr with so many overly friendly people, but if being at Trine Weyr meant that she one day could have a watch-wher of her very own, she could choke down her vomit for the people around her long enough until she and her perfect pair could venture off to some place far away with no one to worry about but the thread overhead and the perils of the caves below.
Beginning her studies, she excelled, the things they were teaching her she already knew twice over, only little things about young whers where new to her, and very welcomed information that she repeated to herself mentally over and over again until she could almost see the words in her mind, seared and permanent. All the things, the proper care and daily chores of being a wherhandler delighted her to the point of jubilation, even though she was still young in all her turns she had never felt so happy, perhaps Trine Weyr was just were she belonged, she just refused to admit it just yet.
Description: Lucius by all means is not average for a girl anyway, she is tall, with a well-toned muscular build, slim at the waist but slightly broad in the shoulders, her arms are perhaps one of her more appealing features if she were male, strong and lean with a healthy shade of honey brown. Even though she spent hours deep within the mines of Eron her natural complexion is a sweet brown just like her arms, even and fair not overly dark but just the right colour for a metal smith’s daughter (a tan almost seems bred into most smiths as it seems to Lucius).
Trying to keep a bit of femininity to her boyish frame Lucius keeps her dark brown hair in a long pony-tail that cascades down her back and is tied trice, once at the base of her scalp, once in the middle, and lastly at the end, the entire course of the binding is laced with red ribbon and fastened neatly in a small bow at the end, all the while she keeps her clavicle length bangs neatly to the sides of her face and neck.
The term pretty is seldom in conjunction with her name, unless it is thrown out in the form of ‘pretty-boy’, rather Lucius is described as extremely handsome, a very strapping lad indeed, if she were a lad that is. Her smile is fleeting and something that brightens her tan face but she tends to hides for she feels it lessens her strong outward appearance.
Besides her toned arms time and time again Lucius has been told that her best and most attractive feature is her eyes, in contrast to her tan skin and the dark shade of her hair, her icy blue rimmed gray eyes are striking and exotic. Cloudy and rain kissed, her hues always seem like there is a storm of sorrowful emotions raging inside of her, as often as it is true even in her happier of moods her azure stare is deep yet incredibly saddening, even so it is still those somber filled eyes that make men and woman alike shiver if she casts her vision upon them.
Personality: Driven and dedicated to her work, regardless of the task Lucius will see it through to the end no matter the cost. A bit over zealous in her believes, she tends to keep her views to herself for fear of being judged by others, her sister instilled that trait into the girl as far back as she can remember.
A built up lack of trust of people from turns of emotional abuse from her older sister (and the fact her father never acknowledged it was happening) and a natural selfish disposition seems to be the key factors in Lucius’ and her ‘bully’ behaviours. Even though she works hard to prove herself in her craft she suffers greatly from a superiority complex and tends to lash out at people that are undeserving of the mistreatment just because they are better (in her eyes).
As quick as she is to help with whers she is just as fast to turn her back if it is group activities that are required for the lesson, the only deciding factor that could sway her mind in the choice to be antisocial would be if the wher was hurting or greatly in need of help from more than one person, in those instances Lucius barks orders and becomes a gruff highly strict leader, but still makes herself the focal point and dominant figurehead of the group.
Quick to act out her emotions with violence rather than to show weakness of any sort Lucius tends to know better than to stay around her peers for fear of getting into trouble and keeps social business in as short of doses as she can possibly measure.
Awkward and bitter her outward demeanor only varies greatly if there is something that she absolutely must have, in these cases she weaves her aggression and confused emotions into a different outlet one that is a glamorous charm, not seductive but rather alluring in its own respect. Wit and intellect greatly shine in these moments that are now rare for the boyish teenager, she now saves all her ingeniousness for her studies and keeps to herself rather than indulging in toying with people and using them with her sly manipulation. Lucius now saves her silvery tongue and will only resort to underhanded pranks if she knows she can get away with them. Mischievous little acts from the older scamp are rare however the wherhandler-to-be still plots childish scams as long as the punishment isn’t too harsh.
Overall Lucius is damaged which is for certain and her lack of positive outlet through the turns has jaded the girl, but not entirely permanently, with a new home and new daily activities especially ones away from Michska, Lucius might just outgrow her bitter glum of dislike for the world and all of the people in it. Only time will tell though, but if her already change in her worse habits is any indication to her blossoming into a more pleasant person, she might just live up to the name her mother gave her at birth, and she might just one day see the Light.

I am actually making Michska too, so that is why I keep mentioning her name. Once she is made I will link her name to her profile <3
If you guys read this before I get the chance to clean up all of the spelling boo-boos and like whoa noticeable grammar stuffs Ane's is sowwy, but she is really tired. let me know what the general thought is about her though! Thanks guys!
-is awake now- Alright, I will be highly tweaking her personality today, as fun as she could be to play the way she is, I feel I should do some modifications, tone it down in certain areas bump up the volume in others. Her personality is gonna be re-done plan and simple, but I really would still love if someone would tell me the thoughts on her as she stands.

I haven't had time to read it in huge detail, but I'll give you a few points I picked up on ^^
- The name; I've only ever heard Lucius as a boy's name, so a brief word on why her parents picked it would be nice, and a word of whether or not it affected her; not much, just a little mention.
- I don't think it's likely that she would have been just adopted to help out with whers; they can be very dangerous animals even to fully trained handlers, letting a child near them wouldn't be a very smart thing to do.
- Her acing as an apprentice seems a bit over the top, even if she had been allowed near whers, there would be a huge amount that she wouldn't know; I don't think busy miners could really take time out to tell her all about the care, anatomy, and so on of their beasts.
- Her eyes. Being attractive is fine, but the last bit about her eyes is a bit too purple prose for my personal taste. Also on the eyes, it's not a good idea to decide how people's characters react; some people might shiver at them but the majority probably won't.
- I'm finding it hard to see how a girl who isolates herself when she can could have become silver-tongued when she wants to be. Again on the not controlling other people's characters, it would be better to rephrase the bit about her being able to manipulate pretty much everyone save her sister.
- Her being a leader in the case of an injured wher; as an apprentice she wouldn't be able to do this so far as I see it, she just wouldn't have the authority to take command of the situation.
- I do like the bullying/lashing out. I haven't had much time to read over other characters recently but I don't think there are many if any other characters like that!
