Character Name: Veselin (Ves, Lin)

Description: Veselin stands tall at 6'3 and his dark brown hair hang a little past his shoulder when it's loose, but he likes to keep it pulled back in a ponytail. His eyes are black pools of darkness but shine with mirth and warmth. He has been told that they are his best feature and he will use them to his advantage. Near his left eye are four scars that mar his otherwise perfect features, though they are only a shade lighter than his skin color and most people don't notice them. They begin at the corner of his eye and end just before his nose. His skin is a dark brown sugar color, and comes from his mother's dark coloring. He has a wiry build and is lightly muscled, though he's stronger than he looks. His clothing preferences are loose tunics and snug trousers tucked into a pair of black boots. His voice is smooth and deep, not quite bass but a low tenor.
Personality: He is almost always smiling and very friendly. One might say he is overly friendly, especially with women. He loves to flirt, with both sexes, though he has no interest in males. This has gotten him into trouble more than once and with both sexes. He's gotten many bumps and bruises from males who didn't appreciate his flirtatious demeanor. The scars on his face came from a scorned 'lover' who didn't like that he flirted with others while he was 'seeing' her. Despite the fact that he is a shameless flirt, he has not...consummated any of his relationships. He loves to meet new people and makes friends easily, but he tends to have more female friends than male. He doesn't like to hang around males unless he is the leader of their group. He's easy to get along with for the most part, but if part of his past is brought up he will immediately close off and change the subject.
He is confident, and rightly so, in some respects. He excels in his studies, though he is not infallible. He hates being corrected and will argue his point. However, if he is proven wrong, he will admit defeat. He is very confident about women, even though he's more likely to fail than to actually charm anyone into being his girl. His confidence has been known to get him into more trouble than he can handle on occasion, but it hasn't seemed to cause him to tone it down at all.
Despite being a (somewhat obnoxious) flirt, Veselin's confidence has earned him the respect of his instructors. They have called him a 'joy' to have in class, his need to excel and slightly perfectionist attitude driving him to study hard and ask questions in class.
He does not speak about his past, and since his best friend betrayed him when he was younger he doesn't trust anyone very easily with information that might hurt him. If asked about his past, he will either make something up that is meant to be funny or he will change the subject entirely.
He loves to hang around in large groups of people, flourishing in these types of situations. He's very possessive when it comes to his things. Not to the point of violence, but he gets twitchy if someone handles his things for too long. He can be very selfish about his things as well, and doesn't give them up very easily.
He's vain about his appearance and will spend about half an hour to an hour every morning making sure his hair is perfect.
