Oceankit, Blossomkit, Echokit and Ravenkit trotted out of the nursery, Specklepaw trotting after them. "Thankyou Specklepaw." Leafdrop murmured watching her kits and niece run off. She was glad she had her kits out of hand for a while so she could have some time for herself. She headed over to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a plump mouse. She noticed Stormrace suddenly beside her. "Good morning Stormrace." Leafdrop said shyly. She was shy around cats she didn't know as well as family, and Stormrace wasn't considered that yet.

Stormrace left the warriors den and saw kits playing in the clearing.

"Aren't they gourgous?" Leafdrop asked happily. The kits had only arrived 4 moonrises ago. They still wouldn't talk but they loved to follow the apprentices.
