It was early morning when Arianrhold stepped out into the vast plains that stretched along for what seemed like an endless amount of time and space. The mountains to the north of where she was standing were colored by dark, curling grey clouds that twisted undulated in a very unappealing fashion. The secnt of rain was heavy in the air, though no drops had actually fallen.
Ari trotted out into the open field. She was heading towards the rive a few miles away in the hopes of finding something more to do with her day. The overcast weather limited her options, but Ari rather liked the cold, tumultuous clouds and their spitting thunder. It did not scare it (though, as her mother often told her, it probably should). She moved swiftly, but quietly, so as to avoid unnecessary attention.

Despite the time in the day, Ariston was running full speed. The early morning runs were always the best in his opinion because the air was a bit cooler and was a bit moist from the water condense back on the ground. The only danger of going at a fast speed on slippery grass was the possibility of slipping, and a full-grown horse going at around 40 miles per hour was just asking for trouble. The young adult paid no mind to that though, and he was considerably safe from slipping on the damp grass because he was running on a dirt trail.
Soon enough, the stallion felt like he was too far ahead from both his mother and his siblings that he felt comfortable enough to slow down. His heart was beating quickly in his chest as it tried to pump enough blood through his system to bring oxygen to the rest of his body. As the stallion slowed down, he realized he had no clue where he was any more. His light amber eyes hinted into his confusion, as he looked side to side to try and find a familiar landmark, but alas, he did not recognize a thing. Shrugging off the worry that he was lost, the young stallion broke out in a grin. Now, he had time to explore! He moved forward, unsure of which way to go, and paid no heed to the weather that might bring rain down.
