Hey everyone!
After a while I've been thinking of ways to get to members and maybe get some of you to be active in this guild. So why not a contest on who can bring the most members to join our group.
The prize would probably be a Gaia item like a monthly item. I was thinking of something Japanese related like the Princess Kaguya. Mind you don't aim too high like something like 500,000. I only got so much.
What are your guys thoughts on this and any ideas for prizes?

harukokun oh sounds good to me biggrin so when does the contest start? Not sure yet. Probably in June, when some people are free from school. However, I bought the April monthly item as the prize to the person who brings in the most members in. Prize: April Monthly Item!!

Okay, so I've been thinking about doing a contest where the person that got the most people to join our group would win the April monthly item.
I'll start it in mid June, a bout the time students should be out of school to the end of July.
So this is what I have been thinking, nothing yet until I finish videos for Fanime and other stuff.

Alrighty then! I think it's about time we get this contest going, don't you? At least before the month is over.
Member Contest
Date: Friday, June 18th.
End Date: Wednesday, August 18th
Purpose: To get more members to join and spread the word. The more members we get, the more contests we'll make!
What to do: Your job is to pull in members all over the U.S. and have them join IYP!
Rules:
1. The newbies MUST be a cosplayer or an anime/manga artist or a
fan of Japanese fashion or all of them. (Wouldn't be IYP without being one of those)
2. They MUST be from the U.S. We are a nationwide group, not a world wide one.
3. They must be active or contribute to the group. (We don't any dead members. We need active ones to make this group grow!)
4. NO CHEATING!! Meaning you can't use one of your mules here as a member or any of your friends' mules. We need real people.
5. The newbies must fill out the application as well. I'll give them a 10 days grace period after Aug. 18th if they haven't sent an application in before so that your hardwork didn't go in vain.
6.No fighting among each other. Play fair. Just throwing that out there, just in case.
How to Win: The member who brings in the most new members wins 1st prize! 2nd prize will go to the 2nd person with the most members.
1st Prize: The April 2010 monthly item.
2nd Prize: Sapphire Plume
Keeping Track: I'll post a new topic here where you can post the list of members you have added. Add a post in each time you got someone to join the group. I'll go to that post, edit it and say
"Checked In" if their application has been accepted.
You can pull anyone in who has (or can make) an account on YouTube, Myspace, Gaia or DeviantArt.
