meditation is always a good start though I don't have ANY luck with it...I just get frustrated

I suck at meditation. Even when my teacher tried to lead me into one I lost it. But I do believe in past lives, I'm trying to get in touch with someone that can help you find out more about them from my teacher.
I've been told before thought that I had connections with witches in one past live. I've also had a very real dream before that may have been a past live.

i usually only meditate to get in touch with my religion or to just calm down and refelct on the day.
ive never done it to firgure out anything sweatdrop

i put on some music when i meditate and it helps me both concentrate and clear my mind all while staying awake. ive got alot of new age type stuff on my ipod

i hook mine up to its little speakers. i dont like using my headphones when i meditate because then i just end up concentrating on the cord when it touches my leg XD
i have to have it loud though. i need to drown out every other bit of noise for me to be able to clear up my mind

xp Back to the topic at hand...reincarnation. Yes, I know many of my past lives, but the one I remember most is from the 1400's when my name was Elane and I was the third child of a minor knight in Warwick Shire England. I even had the weird experience of coming across a book with a minor note about the Warrens who lived in a wooden Keep. It mentioned my two older brothers but nothing about me. Could be that was because my brothers had been presented to the Court but I had not. Anyway a neighbor, Percy, by last name destroyed the wooden fortress and my father and brothers. I idolized my brother Richard, who was also just back from Court and I saw him hacked to pieces by Percy's men. I was fourteen so he took me hostage and threatened to get the Warren land by marrying me. I said no so he held me in his dungeon for two years.

something can be a little bit off topic while still being on topic. we were talking about ways to help meditate because meditation can help with past lives. no need for the angry face

I remember through dreams and through hypnosis. I found out about Elane when I was 17 and regressed. I also remember a dream where my sis and I were man (myself) and Geisha consort. I envy you that you know all these things about you and your brother. I get only one life at a time and then hazily. I have to wait weeks, sometimes months for the pieces to fall into place abouot the life. I'll get a snatch about a scene and then I have to wait for another scene-snatch until I get it all. Since Ranusha and I started to remember It's been a lot eaasier since I can say something I remember and she'll answer back automatically about more of that scene. I can remember as far back as dreaming past life snatches since I was 2 and a half. I've always bellieved in reincarnation because of it. I really can't see any other view...it's so real for me!

One good way to regress is to regress yourself through self-hypnosis. There is a book out...one of the for idiots group. I think it's Physicism for Idiots. I found a copy in Books a Million in the New Age Section. You'd find other good books there too on how to meditate, concentrate, and dreams guidance so make a run to your nearest bookstore or look on Amazon.com... smile 3nodding

ill have to keep an eye out for that. there is a hypnotist in my area ive been debating on going to. ive got no idea how good he is though or how much he charges
