The heavy demon male was busy hunting and lay pressed flat in to the ear just inches from a young rabbit. He's eyes locked on the small white turfed of a tail. Then right when he was about to pounce a loud coughing could be heard and the rabbit bolted. Arcane whipped around with a deep growled.

Nova tried to stifle his cough, he didn't want to worry anyone, and anyway, a cough just gave away his hiding place, after all what was the point of hiding if others you still hear you.
He poked his head out off the hole, letting out a loud hacking cough, *the dust in here really isn't good* he thought just as he spooted a white scut disapearing, and an agry growl coming from above him.

Arcane had easily sniffed out the other males hiding stop and was towering over the entrance. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" He growled before he reached i and yanked Nova out by the scruff and planted him on the snow.

Nova yelped as a deep voice (that he almost recognised) boomed at him, sounding even louder because of the tunnel/hole he was in. Suddenly he was forcibly dragged out by his scruff. He was too terrifed to utter anything but a small squeak.

Arcane was hungry and had spend many hours this morning trying to catch something, he had never been a very good hunter it was because of his large body and wings that got in the way. He snorted down at Nova. "well?" he snapped with another growled, and that wasn't the only thing to growl so did his stomach.

Nova hid his face, emitting complete submission to the other Shakaiyo, "w...w....w...well w...w....w...what?" he asked, voice barely more than a squeak.

Arcane shifted slightly a bit embarrassed by this stomach growling, and he relaxed soon. He reminded him self it was Nova he was dealing with not Buck. He took a deep breath and repeated him self. "what where you doing in that hole?" He sat down with a bit of a huff.

Nova sighed, his tension leaving him a tiny bit, it seemed he wasnt going to be attacked just yet, "h...h....hiding" he replied

Arcane's ears twitched softly and he sighed. "what are you hiding from THIS time?" he knew this was a norm for Nova but there was always a different reason why each time.

Nova flinched as he heard Arcane's stomach growl *so that rabbit had been his lunch* he thought, feeling a little guilty that he'd made the other lose his food. "w...w...what do you c..c...care?" he retorted, then felt bad instantly "if you m...m..must know th..th...that creamy f..f...female she's s..s...s..scary"

"Who Layla?" He shook his head. "ugn Nova you've really got to get over her being around..." He muttered stepping past the older male. "come on I'll catch us some lunch...or at least try ugn..I hate hunting." He grumbled before setting out again he stopped a few feet from Nova. "come on I don't bite...well much anyways."

Arcane thought a moment. "mmm that seems good." He smiled and wagged his tall. "I have trouble keeping up with faster pray because him heavy....not fat mind you but build.." He stretched one of his wings. "Do you think you could chase a deer to me, I can take them down I just can't catch one alone."

"a d..d...d....deer?" relied Nova in a squeak "they're so b..b...big, i d..d....d..dont know if they'd r...r....r..run" he stammered but he headed off, since he was away from the intimidating prescence of Arcane, he'd try and scare a deer towards the other.

"Deer are easily scared, just make a lot of noise but don't send a whole herd running at me." He glanced at Nova. "why do you talk like that?" He asked after a few moments of walking.
