The Hurricane canyon is narrow, but long... very long and it has many twists and turns within it as well. Spanning only 25 ft from one side to the other, it can seem cramped, but with solid chakra control, the walls can easily become a new battlefield of their own. the distinctive feature of the canyon however are the winds. Wind is CONSTANTLY flowing throughout the canyon every post, at a strength hard enough to knock your hat off. Fuuton users are at a great advantage here, but watch out, as Fire jutsu are also amplified (though not so much as to overpower a wind jutsu).

Every 2 posts, as if the winds weren't bad enough themselves, a hurricane like gust whips through the cavern with enough force to send your body flying (and it will in fact, do so) You can maintain your stance at the cost of 3 chakra points (by attaching to a surface tightly), but otherwise you will be thrown around violently and may risk injuring yourself on the walls of the canyon, or by falling if you are already attached to the canyon walls.

In a flash of light, the scenery quickly changes, each genin barely even aware of what happened during the teleportation. Sure, your skin still tingles a little, but otherwise, everything else is the same. Well, except for the fact that you are now standing in an incredibly windy canyon, where the air currents constantly blow at great speed. You can withstand the winds themselves as is, but it is still an impressive amount of wind whipping around in the area.

The air here is incredibly dry, but not hot and the winds are constant, as if you were standing in the middle of a flowing river which never stops. If you're wearing a hat, it's not staying on easily, and your cloaks and clothes, if loose are flapping wildly. As you stand there, the Jounin instructs you to move 25 feet away from each other. right before you begin to move however, you feel a stronger gust of wind push you off your balance slightly, but then can easily regain control. it is apparent however that though the wind is consistent, it can blow even stronger.

"No rules gentlemen... excepting I will step in to stop either of you from killing each other. We're here to find future Chuunin, not kill off all the hopefuls. Represent yourselves and your countries well...HAJIME!" With those words the instructor attaches himself to the wall and climbs up a fair distance above you to observe the fight from a safe distance.
