The Dune Caverns aren't as scorchingly hot as the open desert, but are still pretty warm. The large overhanging rocks of the caverns are in fact cool, having been shielded from the sun for a very long time, but the ground of the caverns are as deep and sandy as the desert itself. when stepping on the sands, your feet will sink about 1 foot into the sands unless of course, you are using chakra control to keep you on the surface. The caves are very long and decently wide, but the cavern's ceilings are only about 20 ft high.
After every 2 posts, a high wind kicks through the area, picking up dust and sand, creating a large dust storm within the caves. the winds are strong enough to push a human, but not enough to knock them down, though the sand and debris that comes with them is rather stinging to the skin as it hits, making it very difficult to see.
