Chapter 14: It is Darkest Near the Light
A figure stood before a circular table, his hands gripping the edge as he starred into the glass spheres that adorned the top of the surface.
There were three of them in red, blue and green. All but the blue colored orb was glowing.
"...you are certain you made the right choice?"
The figure spoke, voice deep and husky.
"Yes, teacher! I promise you! She'll be able to help."
"I trust your judgement then, Legacy."
The blue sphere began to flicker with colors as the voice emitting from it started to laugh.
Turning to the green sphere, the cloaked Pokemon sighed.
"How are things with you?"
"...dull, if anything."
"You had us worried."
"I was careless, I appologize. It wont happen again. Now, about that other item I spoke of-"
"Yes. This Weavile. He may prove to actually help our plans. With a common enemy the guilds will come together, but in the end it is far too risky to let him live. I want him destroyed."
"You got it, teacher!"
"...as you wish."
"Oh, and..."
"Hm?"
"...do be careful, in your condition a fight with this creature is not the best idea."
"...I am always careful."
The mysterious figure sighed. "You worry me, kid." He stated as the each sphere slowly dimmed down and ceased its glow.
"...only time will tell if this world is worth saving."

A dark haze had gone over the Kingdom of the Sun.
A black figure stood on a high outcropping, looking over the Guild of the Sun.
He stretched his arms and claws, his white fangs showing as he grinned.
"I think it's about time I made myself known to all of them..." His evil voice resonated.

Solaris---Ami---Jasper
It was with a frown that the guildmaster starred out the window. His lavender gaze examinging the strange block fog that began to encloak the kingdom in a dark veil.
With a sigh he dropped from the window sill and headed for the alarm, figuring it would be best to alert the other members of this odd phenomenon just in case.
As he raised a paw to strike the bell, the door to the guild open and Selena dashed in with her team in tow. Though they took their sweet time.
"This is your doing, sister?!"
The Umbreon snarled at him. "Me?! I just got here! Was on my way to KICK YOUR a** for good, but then this stupid mist came out of nowhere. That and its ******** freezing out there."
The Espeon and his twin starred at eachother for a moment.
If neither of them did it, then where was this eerie fog coming from?
Without hesitation, Solaris struck the alarm and Selena resigned herself to not causing trouble for once.
She was far angrier with whoever was interferring with her plans to try any evil shemes.
Shortly behind the Solaris, Jasper trotted in and cast a glare to the moon guilders. A blue blur made him drop his gaze for a moment in time to see Solaris's child rush in and nearly collide with Selena. The tiny Eevee gave a yelp and hid behind her father.
    
Selena---Spira---Alfred---Romeo---Kujo
Kujo paced by the door while the others remained far more calm. The Mightyena just wanted to tear something apart, this stupid 'non-violent' s**t was bothering him.
"So...we stay here and help? That wasnt the plan." Spira grumbled, arms crossed.
"Plans change, mon cher." Alfred commented from where he was casually leaning against the wall, cigar in mouth.
Why he had come, who knew. Since his psychic powers were still blocked.
"Besides, dont want to miss the show. Ce sera tout à fait l'exécution~"
"I hate when you're cryptic. Thought you wouldnt do that while your shackled."
The Gardevoir just gave a small smile and returned to his cigar.
Sitting near the adults, Romeo glanced over towards the guildmasters and wagged his tail upon spotting Ami.
He wondered if she remembered him.
   
Jazz---Liena---Sleet---Volkner
The Raichu trotted in with a yawn, not wanting to deal with anything today. Upon spotting the guildmaster near the group from the Moon Guild, however, he quickly decided that this would be interesting if anything.
Standing right behind him, Sleet and Liena exchanged glances of concern.
Shortly after the members of Team Rhapsody arrived, Volkner lumbered in with his usual scowl and sat down not too far from the guildmaster.

    Zori & Suki & Kai & LunaZori led her team at a full-on sprint. Luna, Suki, and Kai had to move as quickly as they good to keep up with the younger, swifter Pokemon. She'd been training while they'd been away. Zori could still hear the alarm ringing in her ears as she raced through the mist toward the Guildmaster and his team. She skidded gracefully to a stop next to the Guildmaster's team, her ears flat. Selena was here with her team as well, but they didn't seem to be at eachother's throats... Their anger was directed elsewhere. "What's going on?" She asked bluntly, feeling that the situation called for urgency, not politics.

  ???---&--- ???Suddenly, near the two Guild Masters, a large flash occured.
When their eyesight returned, two black and red Pokemon were standing there.
They were a Gallade and Gardevoir.
"This is the Sun Guild?" The Gallade said.
"Affirmative," The Gardevoir replied.
The Gallade then turned to face Solaris, taking off his glasses to reveal bright green eyes.
"We are from the P.B.S.A.A." He told Solaris.
"The Pokemon Bioterrorism Security Assessment Agency," The Gardevoir confirmed.
"We've come to inform you that you are not safe. Something is coming, and you should evacuate your guild." LeonLeon had also teleported nearby.
"They may leave, but I must stay. I believe I know what this threat is..." He said.  Orson---&--- Leslie"BAH! I hate dees'! Working with the Sahn Gueeld pansies!" Orson hissed.
Leslie grunted, obviously agreeing with the Weavile. Kage"Hmm... Do you think it's that thing that attacked me?" Kage suggested as he also arrived.
If it was, he would stay so he can get some payback.   Jessica---&--- Amani---&--- SiggyJessica and Amani arrived.
Siggy showed up, too.
This is the kind of stuff you read when the typist has too many characters.

Ally + Christian + Dante
Christian and Dante jogged out of the team room with Ally trailing behind at the sound of the alarm. Dante was itching for a good fight, since he had been absent from the team's activities for a while. Ally was dragging behind, growing tired of the common commotion of this guild. Christian, however, was rather well-spirited until her saw the moon guild. His ears flattened at the sight of the familiar mask-wearing Mightyena, Kujo. He growled a bit, wanting to finish the fight from their last encounter, but was stopped by Ally. She shot his a glare. Clearly, there were more important things.

    Hiku--- Tetsu--- Auron--- ShadeHiku shouted as he heard the alarm, "Come on guys!" The group came running down to the main room. They stared outside at the mysterious fog, but immediately their gaze shifted to Selena and Solaris, somehow actually getting allong. Hiku thought to himself, Is this even possible? I guess we'll find out soon.

Jack entered cautiously with the lot. Apparently just in time to hear the news of an evacuation as he stood nervously in Kage's shadow. At that point billions of parental worries flew through his head, the two kids being home alone for today's events.
Kyle trotted himself in afterward at the sound of the alarm. Despite hating the fact that he had to get out of bed for this; he hadn't done much for the guild in awhile and his teammate Reo was coming along for the fun anyway. He wondered to himself as he trotted along if he would run into that pink Glaceon from the cafe...
Flint arrived with Volkner, having no problem keeping to himself just as his partner was. No need to get caught up in all this ruckus if it could be helped."This place is filled with way too much drama..." He sighed out, thinking aloud.

Zen & Vertigo & Kieran & SakuraA Bulbasaur and Squirtle walked in together in silence; Zen was busy plotting to get his partner (or anyone) to want to deal with him and Vertigo was bemoaning that he couldn't bring his book. Nothing new, and nothing surprising. Following them was a ridiculously pink Glaceon with flowing black hair; he looked around for someone he knew and grinned when he saw both Kyle and Reo. "Hey, guys!" he called as he padded over to them. "How are ya?"
Another ridiculously pink Pokemon entered; this time with the Moon Guild. Sakura had her video camera around her neck (all the better for filming teh yaoi and teh yuri) and was looking around with an 83 expression. Then she saw the two black Ralts evolutions and hissed. HET! How disgusting! They should be ashamed of themselves.

 PuerPuer came when the bell rang. He felt uncomfortable, to say the least. He shifted his weight back and forth from side to side, obviously uneasy. Tolin and Albus were both still at the shop, so he was on his own. He really hoped they'd come back soon.

The three rushed in. Well, Cadarl and Vienna rushed in... Mitch was being dragged due to the fact that he had just gotten out of the shower and was very adament on staying there.
However, when they saw all of the hub-ub going on about, Mitch decided that perhaps it would be best to stay and not go with a fuss.
Vienna looked over at Cadarl, then the Guildmaster, then Selina, then the two weird, dark figures, then to Mitch, and then back to Cadarl again.
She was confused, but she decided not to say anything about it.
Cadarl floated along with an air of dignity, as did Mitch, and they ambled there way over to where Suki was.
The team were the only pokemon that any of them actually knew, so they thought it best to just hang around them for the time being.

Zori & Suki & Kai & LunaZori's ears flattened. She glanced at Kai. He wasn't pleased either. He understood the meaning of bio-terrorism as well. And they understood the meaning behind it, too. The illness that had been spreading like wildfire throughout the Guild Of The Sun had been planted. It was meant to damage the Guild! Suki and Luna looked confused, and leaned in to Kaiyou, who quickly described everything to them under his breath so that the Moon Guild would not hear him. Suki glanced over at Cadarl, Mitch, and their newborn. "Is it really wise to bring a child to a battlefield?" She whispered in shock, gesturing to the Ralts.

The corners of Christian's mouth twitched. "Chewtoy? I seem to remember me and Alex left you limping out of the guild with your tail between your legs," he exaggerated with a smirk. He was probably just asking to get his butt handed to him, especially since Alex wasn't there, but, oh how he wished that he could just rip the ugly Mightyena to shreds right then. He would have, had Ally not conveniently placed her paw on his tail for that exact reason. Christian shot her a glare before glancing around the room. No Charlette. No Alex. Why did he even bother getting out of bed this morning? Dante, on the other hand, was focused on the strange Gardevoir and Gallade. He couldn't even spell "Bioterrorism", much less know what it was.

"I'm not the only one in danger here. If this is as bad as it sounds; we still have our kids unattended right now. What if this terrorist thingy gets in the guild?!" Jack began to let his panicked thoughts leak out, twitching a bit as he leaned against Kage for comfort. He was only catching bits and pieces of what the word going around was; but whatever the hell was happening it wasn't good.
"Eros!" Reo hopped up and down with joy at the sight of his friend. He would have had no problem running up and hugging him, but the whole no arms thing was getting to be a bit of an annoyance. How fortunate now that if any Rattata shown up again he'd at least have someone to cower with. Meanwhile, Kyle, was blissfully staring off into the distance until he heard his teammate shout out a familiar name. And before him was an equally familiar Eeveelution. Holy Arceus on high. Everything fell into place at that moment for the Flareon (And you thought he wasn't that smart~)."E-eros?" He stuttered out, shocked for a moment before the reality set in that he had just fallen for the same boy twice thinking he was the opposite gender. ******** my life.... He thought to himself.
Flint idly reached over from his seat on the ground and began to pet Volkner...He really needed to stop treating him like a pet half the time.
