x x x x x x x x x x x x x He had only recently heard of this place: of its various rash recepticals, spacious interior, out-of-the-way location, and most importantly its penchant for housing and attracting stray cats. Odd things, strays. No territory, usually no family, and most of them being cats just abandoned for one reason or another. Usually the easiest to convince . . . Though the basement cat had long since learned not to trust in luck. If it happened, it happened. If not, it didn't. Simple as that. Fate already had predetermined things anyway, so there was little point in worrying over the small details.
Now . . . "Gokiinu Warehouse." He stood before the seemingly abandoned building, silky tail slowly flicking this way and that. "What little mysteries do you hold?" the cat asked hypothetically, a little smile on his lips as he approached. He had met little resistance, at most dissuading a few vagabonds from mugging him in his usual fashion: an overly polite display of just what sort of thick material his hidden claws could slice through. Currently, however, both sets were sheathed. After all, what sort of diplomat went about waving his weapons? Honestly.
At the door to the warehouse, BC adjusted his tie, pushed back a few strands of hair, cleared his throat, and then he knocked decidedly three times. This was the sort of cat that liked to go about things civilly when possible.

Today was another quiet day at Gokiinu. Not many cats were around. It was a wonder Amaranth kept the place tidy and running when all her help had wandered off. Not a single guard lifted a lazy finger when a strange cat approached the warehouse doors. Amaranth couldn't see him, but she could smell him. The knock at the door came as a surprise though.
"Looks like you've got more company." A Siamese clad in racing gear, with gun holsters on her thighs, leaned against a red convertible that she had pulled inside to work on. She rubbed the smooth exterior with wax in a circular motion, concentrating hard on getting it perfect.
"Yeah, I'll get it," Amaranth replied, as Siam was making no motion of answering the door. Though it wasn't her place to, she was the guest. The Tonkinese made her way to the door, but not without grabbing her katana first just in case. Tail swishing behind her, she grabbed a hold of the handle and lifted the front door open. ((I figure it's like a garage.)) "Hello?"

Ah, such a speedy response! Good, good. "Greetings," the black cat began, and had this door-answerer not been blind, he would have bowed slightly. He noted this condition immediately and made himself relax, more casual; usually cats like this one were more sensitive to voice pitches, vibrations in the air, moods. "At ease, ma'm, I hold no weapon and am only interested in talks. I heard of this warehouse not long ago and grew curious of its proprietor. Are you the one they call Siam?"
Of course, he highly doubted a non-Siamese cat would be called such, but courtesy was ingrained in him to go through such pleasantries. Upsetting someone sensitive could easily lead to a nasty incident, which at this point he wanted to avoid - that, and this long-haired woman had a blade at the ready.

"You want.....Siam?" Amaranth questioned raising an eyebrow. How did he know she was here? Because she visited a lot perhaps? Amaranth was curious. "No my name is Amaranth. I'm in charge here. If you want Siam though, you've come to the right place. She often comes here to hang out. She turned and called behind her. "Siam, it's for you."
"What? For me?" came the confused reply. The sound of footsteps could be heard as Siam approached. "Hello? Oh...." she paused drinking in the sight of her new guest," ~helloooo." When she noticed it was a good looking male waiting at the door, she became very amused. What could he possibly want with her? "What's your name cutie?" she asked, giving him a wink.
Amaranth rolled her eyes at Siam's behavior. "Figures..." She would never admit to Siam that she had an interest in a particular male herself. "So anyway, I suppose you'd like to come in," Ammy stated, gesturing for BC to come inside."

"Thank you, Amaranth." At her word he entered, ducking a little under the metal garage-like door and scanning the area quickly; it seemed he had caught the cats here on a leisurely day. How odd, to think guards were slacking . . . Or perhaps he had gotten his directions mixed up? It seemed so, for this Amaranth had said that Siam came here to "hang out". Ah well, much as he strove for it, the male was not perfect.
Upon spying his intended target, the black cat returned the wink with a slight tilt of the mouth, creating an amused grin. "It is my honor to be in your presence," he said, bowing formally. "I have been called many things, and it greatly entertains me to know how I am thought of by others. Ash and Romeo have been a few among them, though you two may call me as you wish, my lady Siam, Amaranth," he added, nodding slightly to the blind-folded cat. Siam would not visit so much for this lack of enthusiastic following; the two were probably friends, and if he had learned anything about women, it was to gain not only the girl's agreement, but that of any close friends she had. Especially if said friend was master of the territory. Hmm, perhaps two birds with one stone could be possible . . .
"I am new here to Ikebokuro, but even so I have heard rumors of your exploits against humans and their sympathizers," he continued, addressing Siam. "They are an inspiring sort, madam, and yet I have not heard of any stirrings recently. Might I ask what would make the great Siam give pause?"

"Romeo eh? I like that. It's poetic," Siam replied with a smile. She liked the fact that he took the time to bow, even to Amaranth who couldn't see it, but most likely could hear and 'feel' the other cat's movement. "So you've heard of my exploits eh? Yes it's true, lately I haven't been able to do as much. You see....."
Amaranth pulled up chairs for the others as Siam spoke, listening to her friend. She wasn't the talkative type, But, She knew full well the problem Siam was about to confide. It was, the appearance of The Facility.
"To be honest the arrival of these new humans from the Facility has me perplexed. I just recently had to go on a rescue mission there to bring back some cats, one being our friend Odette. It is an entirely new type of building to infiltrate. It's as if they know about our abilities, and use of weaponry and wish to study them. And the way they treat our fellow cats is just horrid. I've been trying to find a way to disarm these humans and their guard dogs, but...they are trickier than most..."
"I wonder Romeo. Are you.... a human sympathizer?" Amaranth questioned. She doubted it, the way he spoke highly of Siam. But she had to know. She went straight to the point. She was never one for dancing around the issue. Or perhaps she was only that way when discussing humans; they disgusted her so.

The very thought disgusted him inwardly, but this manifested in a light chuckle. "A cat is more likely to grow wings and fly to the moon than for me to become a sympathizer of the furless apes," the basement cat replied pleasantly. "No, I have more cause than most to want them gone. As it is, I am in fact one of the few that has managed to escape from the very facility you speak of." Tempo had looked ragged from the escape as well, but BC had since then made sure to clean himself up well; he was "particularly particular", as his brother once put it.
"The building itself is somewhat of a silver, cleanly maze, yes, and the dogs are bothersome. There is at least one cat-friendly mutt among them, however, that allowed us time to escape. Ah, tut on me, I am getting ahead of myself," he chided himself suddenly as he took a seat in one of the proferred chairs by Amaranth. "Forgive me, I enjoy to talk too much for my own good. But my stay there has cemented a long-held hatred of humans, and I have been listening to the whispers of a plan of retaliation. Upon hearing that there might be others like me in this area of town, I set out in hopes of gaining allies. Tell me, Siam, Amaranth -" - he leaned forward slightly, fingers steepled - "has it ever occured to you that a joint-effort against the humans would see the end of this Facility?"

Amaranth smirked as Romeo revealed his hatred of humans. He was like them. She found favor in this. Speaking of alliances, it was true she had agreed Gokiinu and the Video store would back each other. But they had had trouble finding new allies. There were so many NyanMan wuss pusses out there, as Siam called them. She never had liked NyanMan. She always thought she could out-do them; save more cats, create tighter bonds.
Siam released this information to Romeo. "It's true I have other allies. I even work with the crows of the city. They're fine to do business with. But I'm always looking for more. Hopefully not from NyanMan though...I have...issues with NyanMan." She chuckled. It wasn't a secret that she liked to torment the residents there on a daily basis. Though no one except Amaranth new why. "So.... to the point.... are you offering us a chance to be allied with you?" She raised a curious brow. "Because I'm interested." Her tail flicked back and forth almost in amusement at her own words. They had just met Romeo, but she was willing to except his help.
Amaranth nodded. Hesitantly at first. She was a little more concerned about Romeo. Perhaps if he stuck around a little longer they could get to know him better. "Would any one like some sake? I can get some..." she offered.
((sorry the reply took so long. I was at the hospital. >.<;;; ))

And so they come, purring. "I appreciate the offer, but I am not fond of the taste," he told Amaranth. "Thank you, though." The man sat up straighter once Siam began to follow his train of thought, smiling and letting his steepled fingers relax back into his lap. "Indeed, this is why I came, although it was by a stroke of fortune that I found you here. My source of directions was . . . unclear." He would need to pay her a little visit sometime about keeping her facts straight.
"It pleases me greatly to know of your interest, madam. Already I am beginning to slowly amass a force against the Facility, but with your help - and perhaps that of Amaranth's if she so chooses - the group will be bolstered in strength, I have no doubt. I have already allied myself with Tempo, a master of a rather motley crew of cats in what is called the Ruins. I am also beginning to find old contacts as well as helping watch over another territory that would most certainly be willing to aide us," he explained to them. "The more the merrier, yes? Have you anything to add besides yourselves? Certainly that alone would be a great addition." |~| Hey, no problem, hun~ *hugs* |~|

"I'll take some," Siam acknowledged, cheerfully taking the bottle land pouring into a small shot glass. "Well there's me of course. And all the cats at the video store are sure to back me." ((the event for her underlings homing has yet to happen xD)) "We could probably get Eryn, and Theissen as well. Perhaps even Orpheus. Right Amaranth?"
Ammy nodded along, "I wouldn't mind. Odette would help. And the few cats that are here are sure to follow me. Though sadly not many live here. But I'm anxious to meet your other allies. I think it sounds like a great idea," she finally decided. It was, after all, in her best interest. They'd be taking out the Facility once and for all, saving cats everywhere. Then Siam would most likely stop stressing and go back to harassing NyanMan. Amaranth took the bottle from Siam, knowing if she let the Siamese hold onto it, she'd drink far too much. She was glad that Romeo had declined the offer to drink as well. She didn't want to handle two drunks. She'd had that happen once before, and it was a real mess.
"And, like I said before, I'm sure I can persuade the crows. They'll do just about anything for shiny stuff, and food," she chuckled.

"Good, good! I trust that those you have listed are capable fighters, if not quick enough on their feet to keep up." If so, that meant . . . perhaps another six additional cats added to the team. Excellent! He purred a little with pleasure. "With this force, we will no doubt be able to overrun the humans. I believe Tempo also has an alliance with another territory to consider, but I will worry about that. He and I know the ins and outs of the place for the most part, and we may also have a cat on the inside to depend upon. The operation is set to occur soon; I will send someone to alert you two of the exact time and place we will congregate. Now . . ."
He paused to collect his thoughts. "You are friendly with the crows? I was not aware they would work for any cat. What services have they done you in the past, and are they reliable?"

"Ah yes the crows," Ammy began.
"They have been helpful on more than one occasion. For instance kidnapping, and guard duty. They're also great distractions for when I wake my way into NyanMan. I have interest in an Abyssinian there named Cyan. And on top of that, Wild Cat's Collar."
"I don't suppose you've heard of Wild Cat?" Amaranth asked, curious.
"A lot of cats look up to him. Especially our friend Odette. Who regrettably entered NyanMan as her home instead of with us," Siam pouted. She really had something against NyanMan. But she wouldn't say what.
"Back to crows though. They should always be left in groups. One by itself is rather easy to deal with," she went on to say. "And their ability to fly is rather handy."

He pondered over their words for a moment. "I have heard of this Wild Cat, yes, though he has not been very high on my list of things to explore as of yet. Perhaps once I am finished with The Facility." Though frankly BC wasn't sure about scouring legends. Unless he was given some form of proof that there was something to really look for, he wasn't going to expend energy on it. "And these crows listen to you?" he queried with an intrigued brow raise.
"Hmm . . . if you could gather a group by the time I call for you, perhaps they will be of use to distract the dogs and humans. A plucked eye or two even," he added, mentally envisioning it and chuckling. "Yes, that seems appropriate. They have always been blind to our power. Very well, count the crows among the numbers." The man then stood and adjusted his tie. "I would hate to stay for much longer, approaching out of the blue like this. Is there anything else you would care to mention that might be of use, either of you?"

"Oh, good good. I'm sure they will be most helpful, I assure you," Siam chuckled, giving the boy a wink. "And as for now, I guess that settles everything. Ammy told me she's expecting a few new members here, so we might also be able to count them in. Right Am?"
"Indeed. And I look forward to working with all of you. Coming up with a plan to storm the Facility should be no trouble at all if we put all our heads together. Splendid." For the first time in a long while she gave an honest to goodness smile.
Despite not everyone having drinks, Siam gave a 'CHEERS!' anyway, and downed the last of her sake.
((and if you want we can end the rp here with them going their separate ways, and then start up the one where the girls meet your adorable religious kitty. we only need 5 posts from each of us for it to count as an official rp. /random xD ))
