Hey everyone, I'm posting this here for some feedback, it's quite an old story of mine but I only got to the point where I finished the prologue. I'm looking for some good words about it than perhaps I'll go and look for an inspiration to make me write it again.

“I remember when I first made this commitment, I was with her. It was just the two of us, together and in love. I was so willing to give up everything too, and now I look around and always ask myself; 'For what?'. But than I see her, and the fire is rekindled. I'm here for her, and will always be here for her. Katarina, my one true love. We've been together from the start. In fact, she is the one who brought me into this life of Vampirism. My name is Matar, and this is my story.”
It all began in 2009, school had started again and here I was, in grade eleven. Little did I know that this year would be the year in which my life went into a paradox, a life without time. That morning was normal, get up, get showered, dressed, basically the ordinary 'getting readies' for school. From there I made my way to school, lucky for me, my mother bothered to drive me. The rest of the day went on normally until lunch hour. As I sat with my friends, I noticed a girl across the cafeteria from us, she was beautiful. An angel in everyone's eyes. Upon seeing her, I knew I had to meet her. So up I got and away I went to go meet this perfect woman. As I approached, however, I was intervened by a few of my pals and I lost my chance as she left with her friends.
As I entered my home that night my parents were waiting for me at the table with some bad news. My best friend Jeremy had moved in the middle of the day because his parents thought that my school was wasting useful funds. I could really care less about everything else, the only thing on my mind was that I was without a best friend. I couldn't believe it, I was speechless and so I locked myself in my room. I only left it to go walk my dog and low and behold, there she was, walking outside her house with a dog. I couldn't believe it, of all people that moves into Jeremy's house, its her! I suppose as soon as Jeremy left, her parents moved in. I started to make way towards her but stopped thinking I would look weird so I slowed down, held in my emotion, crossed the road and made my way towards them. As I got closer I let my dog sniff around more often in hope to get a chance to stop near her. Almost like fate had a controlling hand, my dog did exactly that, stopping just in front of her. As I let it sniff around again, I turned and smiled at her.
“Hi there, nice night out, huh?”
She smiled and returned the statement; “Quite. I just love the moon when its so big! It lights everything up around you and just makes you want to stand and stare all night!”
I couldn't believe the things I was hearing. Her voice, was so melodic, it was like a beautiful tune, never ending. “I'm Matar, I suppose you moved into Jeremy's house?”
“Katarina,” she smiled. “Yeah, my parents moved in this afternoon while I was at school.”
“Oh really? Where do you go?”
I knew the answer, but I couldn't help but play it cool. I didn't want to ruin anything at all. I was glad she didn't take it wrong too.
“I go to Alexander Hopkins, and you?”
“Wow, I'm surprised I didn't see you around. I go there too.”
“Oh really? Do you walk?”
The conversation rolled on like this for a while. Soon after we continued the walk and got to know each other a lot better. Later that month, I asked her out and she accepted; I've never been happier since. We were like a normal couple, however there was always something that made her distant from me and I just had to find out. So I took a plunge one night, we had dated for about a year by this time and I couldn't help but question it.
“Kat, would you say I know everything about you?”
She looked up at me, with the one of most confused expressions I've ever seen and she sat up.
“Well, you couldn't know everything about me, there's too much to tell.”
“No, I meant; 'Do you think I know everything major about your life.'”
She looked up at the moon before looking back to me.
“No, there is something, but I don't think I can tell you.”
I looked into her eyes, “Please Kat, you can trust me.”
“W-well, y'see, I'm not really human.”
At this moment I was close to laughing but I went with it for the moment.
“I'm a vampire Matar.”
I couldn't really believe her at this point, I always wondered what it'd be like to be a vampire and often fantasized about it but to actually hear someone who is so serious about it? I never thought I'd hear such a thing. But here she was, the girl I loved, saying such words. I couldn't help but believe her. After all, I loved her.
“If you are, could you turn me?”
“You mean, to a vampire?”
I smiled at her, staring deep into her eyes. “Yes.”
At that moment, I knew I'd be with her forever and couldn't help but express my thoughts with a kiss. That was my last moment as a human being, my last moment of suffering the plague that is time.
“That was twelve hundred years ago, we're still together and the world is ever changing. We've found a coven too, a strong one. Unfortunately we've been plagued with a war since our previous leader, Alkrin, left the coven with some of our best warriors. Also, primitive, more medieval weaponry are still enjoyed by the vampires which surprises me even to this day, yet we've adapted quite firmly to the futuristic times; Using more, lethal weaponry shall I say."
