((After talking to Yuna, we're changing Bell's attack sequence to 1, 2, 1, 2, 4, keeping Rohan's the same.
1 - Miss 2 - Bide 3 - Small hit 4 - Big hit
This is here for our benefit))
Rhodizite had been out for hours that night, and he'd gotten nada, siltch, zero, nothing to show for his time spent. It hadn't been out of lack of opportunities to grab the god damned star seeds; he'd seen quite a few civilians, but none of the situations had felt right. Actually, in all honesty though, that wasn't quite true. His whole problem was that he was feeling horribly distracted, and he was finding out that such a mindset was not particularly productive for starseed gathering or work of any kind (marking some essays had proven to be a futile task earlier that night).
Still, he was stubborn and despite the odds against him, he'd refused to give up and return empty handed, mostly because he did not want to have to explain how he'd been unable to perform his duties because his head had been elsewhere. Something told him that wasn't going to sit particularly well with, well, anyone.
The park had offered him a nice shadowy place to visit in search for someone to attack (anyone, really - he wasn't feeling particularly picky on whom it was, tonight). After several moments of surveillance, under the cover of some trees and foliage, he'd picked out a young couple hat had their backs turned to him and were, in Rhodizite's opinion, up way past their curfew.
They were sitting a bench, under the light of a lamp and were much too interested in one another to pay their surroundings much mind. After a few more moments of observation, he finally stepped out from behind the tree and foliage he'd been using as a hiding spot, and towards the couple. Anyone that had any... vague idea on how the negaverse dressed would have probably noticed him instantly, specially when he pulled out a long chain, which seemed to be tipped with a bone; the metal even shined and shimmered against the light of the lamp as he approached, further giving his position away to onlookers.
Had it been any other day, he'd probably have been more careful.

Bellatrix had put herself back on Youma patrol. She'd been staying huddled up enough nights in her room at the Academy alone that the guilt was beginning to nag at her...or maybe it was those reoccurring night mares that had been started even before...before the incident. Just thinking of it made the girl shudder.
She had come into that park lead by the dark feeling. The same feeling she had ignored when she'd been lured in my Serandite and Tisiphone. Was she ready to take on another Negaverse Agent? Bellatrix really didn't think so. Still, she knew it was her duty as a senshi to go...especially when she didn't since anyone else nearby that might be able to take care of the situation. Oh, and she had her fingers crossed that there was. However, the closer she got, and the stronger the dark bile grew, the less hope she had.
In order to appear less conspicuous, Bellatrix had thrown a pretty little black jacket over her senshi outfit. The spring nights were still somewhat cool enough to warrant one. It was just a blessing that her fuku wasn't as...ornate as some she had seen at the big senshi meeting. With the jacket she seemed somewhat normal...barring the tiara.
Bellatrix was walking up the path just a ways away from the couple when the glimmer of metal (from Rho's chain) caught her eye. Pale blue eyes widened. So there was the source of the dark feeling. Indeed, like before, it was connected to the Negaverser, but Ballatrix really wasn't thinking about that right now. Now she was faced with her personal fear, or duty. It was the classical 'rock and a hard place' situation for her. Come on, Bell, if you don't jump back into the game now, you know you never will! Biting her lip and surveying the situation Bellatrix then spotted the lieutenant's target, and she felt her heart drop. There was no way she couldn't act now!
The swirling light of her chakrams formed in her hands. They wavered, their solidity connected to the Senshi of Fortitude's own determination and...well, fortitude. She sent one flying and it missed - hitting the light pole instead, where it then vanished.

One step, two steps, three steps... and he was almost ready to attack the apparently unaware couple. Rhodizite took just a moment to prepare himself for what was to inevitably follow his attack and then stepped forth to strike.
Unfortunately for him (or fortunately, it depended on how one looked at it), a ball of light rushed past him, hitting the lamp post just off to his side before vanishing. It effectively stopped him from reaching his intended targets and instantly alerted the couple that something was indeed very wrong with their night out, seeing as how both had jumped to their feet and had chosen to run away as soon as they stopped the metal chain Rhodizite had been carrying, no questions asked.
Frowning, the Lieutenant cursed softly under his breath, more at himself than anything else, for he'd been caught distracted, of all things. It had caused him to miss his targets AND it had almost got him hit by a senshi attack, which was doubly worse given the facts he had absolutely no idea of the consequences of said attack.
God damn it.
Finally turning to face the senshi, he was surprised to see her wrapped in a black jacket - it had done a good job of concealing her fuku from view (not to mention the fact he had been horribly distracted had played in her favor). As it was, however, he had absolutely no idea whom she was, and though he'd seen her attack... he wasn't entirely sure what it did. Rhodizite decided it wasn't a good idea to rush into a battle without some prior facts, so instead he took his time and watched her, "Your aim is off," he told her softly, his hands grabbing at the chain he carried and preparing it by giving it a mild yank, "I wonder why."

"Maybe I wasn't trying to hit you," Bellatrix said, trying to swallow her fear and throw her chin up in a false display of cocky arrogance, er, confidence. Still, it didn't stop her feet from taking baby steps back as she eyed the chain. Bellatrix had no weapons on her, and self defense class wasn't going so well.
'But at least the couple got away...' if nothing else, she could feel good about that.
Nirmally she would have asked for the lieutenant's name, but given her status at the moment, even displaying her own name and sphere was laughable. Senshi of fortitude indeed... No strong wall was ever built on a crumbled foundation.

"Oh?" he arched a brow as he watched her carefully, apparently trying to gauge how she might react. He was still uncertain as to what her sphere was (We're senshi usually supposed to shout some weird lines about how they were going to punish him, their names, their sphere and all the deal? And then attack?). This one was sure as hell not following protocol, but that might have had something to do with the fact she wasn't feeling all that certain about the situation at hand, if the steps that she was taking back were any indication, "Well then, that would make you immensely stupid, now wouldn't it?"
Rhodizite took a step forward for every step she took back, and soon enough decided that he no longer had time to keep on evaluating her; as far as he could tell this could either be a really easy battle (if he was reading her fear right), or a really hard one, if she was prone to be more dangerous when she was stressed.
At any rate, it was clearly a chance which he was going to have to take. He figured that taking initiative and attacking first this time might come in handy; it might even cause her to flee so he could hopefully track down that damned couple and get the whole thing over with. That in mind, he rushed forward, towards her, lashing out with his chain in an attempt to wrap it against her neck, no doubt hoping to immobilize her.
Her steps back, however, caused him to miscalculate, and though the chain missed Bellatrix's neck, it wrapped neatly around her forearm with a satisfying clinking of metal against flesh, "Got you," he murmured as he tugged; though in all honesty... maybe she had him. He hoped she was too distracted to play a good offensive move or scared enough to not be able to fire her attack in time, now that he was so close.

When Bellatrix first formed her attack a while ago, two chakrams had formed - on in each hand. The one was gone now, but the other still wavered in her other hand,...the hand that was now wrapped by the chain, which had been quicker than she thought, as she had tried to release the remaining chakram before the inevitable hit, but the attack dissipated in the air before it ever really went anywhere, due to her focus being on the matter at...wrist.
Bellatrix tried jerking her arm back, but with little success in doing so. She couldn't do anything at this distance. No kicks or punches...and her chakram, weak as it was, had missed, and it would take a while before she was able to do such an attack again... Bellatrix nervously but her lip, and leveled a hard stare at her opponent. Bones...hadn't one of them mentioned a a lieutenant with bone embellishments? The realization dawned on her.
"So you're Rhodizite..."

He watched as the second chakram seemed to pretty much... dissipate, even before she fired it, causing him to arch a brow in mild confusion. The fact he was having to think things out as he acted made it hard for him to determine exactly what was going on, but as far as he could gather, it seemed as if her attack (or her control over it) was directly tied to how she felt.
Stressing her out, or scaring her, seemed to have a negative effect upon the attack in question, which seemed to be playing in his favor at the moment. That in mind, he gave the chain another yank, which probably pained her, seeing as how it was wrapped around her wrist rather forcefully - she was still not at arm's length, but he figured that after a couple more tugs, he'd be able to reach her. If he could only keep her scared till then, it was possible he'd have her exactly where he needed her.
And then, the girl finally spoke. Rhodizite blinked, obviously caught off guard; though his tugging stopped (winning the girl some time to recover, and possibly take a few steps back again), his grip on the chain did not loosen. It took him several moments to realize that the fact she knew his name meant she had been in contact with Polaris (after all, she was the only one he'd introduced himself to, formally anyhow), "Oh? I see you've been talking to Sailor Polaris, haven't you?" he allowed himself to smile, though it probably came off as slight off putting, "Did she also tell you about how close I came to yanking her star seed? Had the snake girl not been around, she'd be dead; I practically brushed my hand against the seed," he tsked his tongue over his teeth, "Shame on me for letting myself get caught off guard."

"Indeed I have," Bellatrix said, taking those few precious steps back until she tripped over the edge of the concrete pathway. For a moment Bellatrix felt agitation at her clumsiness, but then Rhodizite spoke of how close he had come to stealing Polaris' starseed, and she tensed. It took her a moment to gather up words for a proper rebuttal. "Well, don't feel too bad, you're not the only failure in your bunch. I'm sure you're somewhat better acquainted with other Negaverse agents than we Senshi are with each other, so I'm sure you know Serandite and her little pet - Tisiphone. They reied to take mine too, but failed. But no matter how scared the incident left me, it also endowed me with a determination to live. So,..." Well, Bellatrix wanted to say 'So I'm not going down so easy,' but given her position that wasn't really appropriate. so instead; "Give it your best shot."
It somewhat amazed Bellatrix how in her fear she could still put up this brave facade. Well, she had spent a good twelve years of her life as an actress...

"Indeed you have," he repeated after her. It was true she was talking brave, but the way she was acting spoke otherwise to him. As far as he was concerned, if he kept her on edge just a bit longer, then he had a good chance of ending the night in a rather prolific fashion, "Oh really? I don't know about that. As far as I can see, it's shaken you up pretty bad, girl. I think they might've broken you... and if they haven't, that's fine. I'll take the job on for them."
As she ordered him to give it his best, he yanked the chain again, this time twisting in harshly, enough to drag her forward across the concrete floor, "I'm not the one whose down," he murmured before smiling almost pleasantly at her. That said, he moved forward and prepared himself for the final charge, his free hand flexing once before he shoved it directly towards her, no doubt intending to do to her what he'd nearly done to Polaris.

Bellatrix took the scrapes and inevitable bruises trying not to issue any sound of pain, but when that hand came towards her, so much like Tisiphone, Bellatrix balked. She could feel every ounce of blood within her body go cold. She couldn't fight, so she had to get away,... But could she will her attack to hit? She had to...no one would save her this time. And she'd only be able to get one off. Her other hand, the one bound by the chain, was going numb.
The golden energy began to swirl above her unbound hand. Bell was determined to live. And if she didn't get away,...well, she didn't see that happening. So she had to...get away.
Run like a coward, but live to see another day. To fight another day.

Rhodizite saw the light a fraction of a second too late; no sooner did his head snap towards the source of light, that it hit his body, cutting through him. Instantly, his body froze and inwardly, he cursed himself; he'd been sure the girl would have been too distracted to call out an attack. That and he'd been counting on some sort of time limit. He'd figured she would have been unable to call for it so soon again.
He wasn't allowed to continue pondering the issue further though, because soon enough pain lashed through him, paralyzing him. He ground his teeth and closed his eyes in an attempt to ride out the wave of pain, hoping against hope that the chain would keep the girl occupied till the effects of the attack dissipated.
If this meant he was going to lose another star seed because of a last minute surprise attack, he was going to be really, really pissed off.

Paralyzed though he was, Bellatrix had been counting on Rhodizite's chain to loosen. It still held her wrist firm. She pulled and grit her teeth, beginning to panic. She knew she didn't have much time, and the attack would have only pissed the lieutenant off. The sacrifice for freedom was flesh, but then again...what did that matter? She was already skinned up. Bellatrix tried to make her hand as small as she could before giving one final tug with a force she probably wouldn't have had if not for the adrenaline. Holding her pained wrist close, Bellatrix scrambled to get up. The attack must have been wearing off now. The trade off for having conjured it early was that it wouldn't hold long. Bellatrix had discovered that fighting Youma.
She had to get away....she wanted to track down that couple and make sure they were safe... That was how she tried to rationalize her weakness and cowardice. 'Don't think of it as a loss, my foe. You could have won, no doubt, but luck was on my side,' Bellatrix thought as she looked behind her and ran.

The effects were indeed wearing off, but it wasn't really allowing Rhodizite to do much except open his eyes to watch as the girl ran away. It was still a good few seconds before the pain that lashed through him dissipated and he was able to move his arms, which felt numb from and a bit useless. Glaring in the direction the senshi had vanished off to, the lieutenant worked the muscles of his hands and arms, clenching and flexing his fingers, as if the movement would help him restore his body back to normal sooner.
Only when he felt his arms responding to orders did he bend over to pick up his chain, frowning down at the weapon in his hand before sending a particularly nasty glare towards the distance. There was no use in going after her now; she might've powered down, and if she hadn't she'd probably be well gone.
Not only that, but he'd lost the couple he'd meant to ambush, and something told him that his body was not up for more tonight. Making a 'tsk' like sound with his tongue, Rhodizite decided to call it a day; he was decisively pissed and needed to go listen to some classical music, read a good book and hopefully unwind.
