A young man sat in his front yard, smiling at the sun and enjoying the beautiful weather. To his side sat a small stand, and on that stand was a glass filled with lemonaid. Around him was a rubber ring, and inside was water, and there he sat in the small pool.
He was relaxed with his long blonde hair, pulled back loosely at the nape of his neck. Every few moments he would take a sip of his drink, and than lean back with a long sigh. This man had nothing to worry about, or so it appeared.
Yet, if one looked at the mailbox, they would realize he simply was a bit irresponsible, for the box was filled with letters. It wasn't that he was lazy, he just hadn't gotten around to visiting the little box to check what was inside. Beside, most of it was junk anyway.
Naturally, Loyd did not think about the fact that he applied to adopt a child (mostly because he wanted to raise a child much like his father raised him), and that possible, a letter may be sitting there waiting for his response.
In fact, had he realized it was there, and had he realized that someone might show up to get his response, he might have acted a bit more serious. But today...today was his day off, and his day to simply relax.

A car pulled up about that point, a sleek silver one with tinted windows, and a woman stepped out looking stern. Well, about as stern as she usually did which was a lot, so maybe she just looked normal. Her hair was straight and pink and she had a large visor on, silver and matching her grey uniform.
Behind her, from the car, she picked up a little creature with red skin and blonde hair. "Are you Loyd?" she called sharply to the man in the pool.

The sun was shining in his sight, bring and alluring as the rays touched his skin. The darker tan kissed his body, and he stretched his arms out even more than before. It was than he heard the call from the girl, and he was so startled that he fell back against the pool. His weight pushed the edge and the water and his body fell in a heap to the grass.
After a few seconds of his lips flopping like a fish, he turned his head to the side and eyed the two standing by the car, he did not know, but it still was something.
So, he quickly stood up and grabbed his towel, "Yeah...I'm Loyd...can I help you?"

"Yes. This is for you." she stated, walking over and handing the sleepy looking tot to the man. "He's lacking a name but your paperwork is done and he is in your care now. Please remember to bring him to the Mystic Mixers laboratories once per stage of growth or else you will be fined." well damn, Kayen sure talked business fast.

A sputter left his lips as she walked over, his ears not comprehending until a heavy weight fell into his arms. He nearly dropped the child until he realized it was a child. Than, he nearly dropped it again when a fuzzy tail wrapped around his arm and the boy placed his head on Loyd's shoulder.
"Woah...w-wait, what is this? What is the meaning of this?!" He screeched it out a moment, and in his arms Aleric opened his mouth for a large yawn, and one of his light green eyes opened slightly.

"You applied to adopt a child from us. When you didn't come to retrieve one after a certain amount of time, one was selected for you. I am here to deliver him." she explained nonchalantly, as if this were a regular adoption agency occurance.

"Oh...That!"
He said with a wide-eyed look of realization, before glancing down to the child once more. He finally got a good look at the boy, with the child's fuzzy red skin, golden blond hair, and long flashy tail. It was a crazy type of creature, one he had never seen in all of his travels.
He looked back toward Apoxi with a confused look, and could only nod to the child with a sense of questioning.

"His combination is of a Foo Dog of asian descent and a fairy." she explained, "Please return him to our laboratories once a stage of life for observation and contact us for any assistance you might need."

(Oh, I thought Apoxi usually harassed people haha mixed up the names ><; wink
He nodded and stared at the kid, forgetting Kayen for a long moment as the boy looked up with a sleepy stare. The two exchanged long looks before he suddenly bit onto Loyd's hand and started to drool while gnawing the flesh softly.
"Uh sure...I guess I could take care of this guy..."
As he continued to look at the kid, a sort of silly smile crossed his face, a mix between a grin and a smirk.

(XD nawwww. She harasses them in the labs. Kayen's the more serious you take kids nao kind XD)
Kayen nodded curtly. "Then that'll be all. Good day." the woman stated, turning and heading back to her car. What was this, routine? Crazy lady.

Loyd looked up one last time, before blinking as the woman was gone. Silent, swift, she just seemed to disappear in her car. He swallowed a moment before shaking his head and turning around, walking back to his house with the now slumbering child rested in his arms.
