Clear blue skies, the leaves on the trees dancing in the wind, just another day. Down in a prone position, Croatoia stares at small field mouse as it scavenges for food. Interesting Croa thought as she watched it scamper about, such a pathetic being, yet surprisingly resourceful. These sort of things fascinated Croa, she thought about the wonderful ways she could experiment on the poor field mouse. I wonder what sort of ingredient I could procure to paralyze this little guy Croa thought as she got up to look around the surrounding area. Searching first at a nearby tree, Croa began to slowly examine everything around her, taking note of its texture, its smell, everything down to how many bumps and ridges were on it. This was Croa's gift, the ability to look at anything, analyze it, and remember everything about it.
Coming across an odd flower, she took a sniff. Her eyes went dizzy and she felt weak. This is it! she thought. Carefully picking the plant, she went and found a few small seeds to rub this new plant onto and carefully went back to the little field mouse. Laying before the small field mouse, Croa placed the small seeds and stared blankly at the field mouse. "Go ahead little one, they will make you strong." she said softly, trying not to scare off the mouse.
Watching contently she observed as the mouse devoured the seeds, unaware of the tainted substance about it. Moments after the mouse fell over, she laid there, staring at it, studying how long till the mouse began to regain motor functions. Cautious she was tho, wondering if the substance now in the poor little mouses body would effect her at all. Croatoia was in her own little world. Contently.

Angra seemed to devour the skies as he wandered in and stood over his experimenting daughter. Daughter, such a funny word for him to think about or even consider. The sun high in the sky taunted him to leave the area and find water, but he found he felt a sense of needing to be responsible for his family he still had. This was only one of his daughters, he had taken three, left three with Oki.
"What is it you are doing Croa..?" He eye'd the field mouse curiously, he to had hunted small rodents as he grew up, purely for amusement, something hsi brother had not gotten fond of. He smirked thinking of Spenta. He knew his brother would hate to find out his nieces and nephews were born. In fact Angra was determined to shove it in his face later.
his ears flatten to his head as his daughters silence continues, how dare she ignore him. He pondered with an aggravated huff. "Croa, answer me when I speak to you." He growled a warning and sat, rocking onto his haunches comfortably awaiting an explanation.

Croa looked over, blinked once at her father and just stared at him, no expression on her face. "Hunting." she replied, and turned her head back towards the little field mouse, not wanting to miss a thing.
Croa didn't care for such attachments, so having to be watched by her "Father" was rather bothersome. Croa felt she had all the skills to survive on her own, but the prospect of having test subjects living with her was enough of a bonus for her to attempt to stay with them. Subjects were all they were to her tho.

He growled again, his daughter was disobedient, he wondered a moment where she'd gotten that from. [lol] He huffed slightly, watching her 'hunt' a moment longer before bending to her neck and harshly snagging her scruff. "It's dinner. Time to wash up." He grumbled through her thin pelt.
"Then you have lessons." He smirked slightly at his talk of 'lessons'. He used the term loosely EXTREMELY loosely and was excited when he thought of something else the cubs had to learn. Today would be 'manners' he plotted shaking her up, not destroying her confidence, but being a proper minion.

Croa, just dangling limp in his mouth, tilted her head up at him. "Clearly you cannot see father.." she says as her head then turns back to the field mouse "My dinner is right there." Croa didn't want to be looked after, she'd take care of herself, not trusting food someone else provided her with. She was quickly beginning to realize how much of a nuisance her "Father" would be.
"I do not require any lessons either." she said in a matter of fact tone. Croa was clearly the most educated of her siblings, and she knew it. She also knew her "Father" could teach her little of interest."

"Croatoia. shut up" He growled firmly, rumbling her body with it's power. "You'll be old enough to make your own decisions later, for now you are under my rule." He moved her with ease, her other siblings were already waiting for Angra, he had told them and they came. He told himself it was because they wanted and needed to learn, but they were really just competing.
He set his all yellow daughter down and glared at her. "Stay put, I'm getting dinner." He growled again, reasserting his dominance. He was pissed off as per usual. This group was exhausting, he wished he had taken his other daughter who was quiet, but at least listened he didn't even want to think of his 'son'. He turned and left to get dinner, returning not to long after.

Croatoia was back at her field mouse, nibbling at it as her father returned. Completely ignoring the red lions previous display of attitude, she went about her business as if nothing had even happened.
Angra was clearly visible from the corner of her eye, she watched him carefully as he approached the area. I wonder how this brute would react to my 'Disobedience'? she thought for a moment. This kind of thought made her relatively intrigued. Testing things out on her "Father" would be a suitable pass time until shes gathered all shes needed from her family.
