Once when I wasn't feeling good, I only went to school for band. Then left after class.
Does that count?

Ohh! I got one! I'm spending half the summer at band camp. The other half I'm going to spend working to pay back my dad for the fees of band camp.

I once had a terrible toothache. When i went to band class, it was gone. when i stopped playing, it was unbearable pain and i ended up going home after abnd because i could barely walk to my next class.
I stood at a street corner today with my band to protest budget cuts. My feet almost melted to the sidewalk and my face is a new shade of red.

I have a couple. 1. On any given day, during marching season, you will most likely see me spray painting my backyard to look like a football field, invite my band freinds over, and we'll practice our show for that year. 2. On any day, you can hear me quoting my BD to my parents. 3. I call my BD Papa Sever or Sever~sensei, as do my parents bacause we all recognize that I spend just as much time in band as I do with my family. 4. I invite my band friends over to watch movies after a hard season, and we spend the entire time listening to the soundtrack, talking about what we should do for next year's show. 5. All my freinds come over to hear the my transposed music for the marching band, off of my computer program. In our spare time. 6. Majority of my summer revolves around band camp. My parents have to plan vacations in early June for me.

1. I started playing alto, then my bd need a tenor so I played tenor. Once I got in to high school, I played bari my junior year for jazz ensemble XD
2. When seemingly hard songs become super easy.
3. Spend most of my summer in band camp.
4. When someone gives me crud, I pwn them with my bari, and then they cry like little girls XD

All I can think about right now is how some freshman beat me by three points and all because I didn't get quiet enough in one part of the audition excerpt.
Oh yeah I bought a FIRST-CLASS ticket home (it was the only seat left on the plane) from my cruise vacation in florida to new jersey, and drove a 1h30 minute trip in an hour to make State-Jazz Finals breaking nearly every traffic rule, and made it with two minutes to spare before we stepped on stage. biggrin

My entire summer is spent waiting for band camp, I walk around at school and at home humming random band songs, I've named every instrument I've played, I consider that band IS a sport, I keep my neck strap on all day occasionally... need I go on? biggrin

Almost half of my non-band frinds are joining band next year because of my nonstop rants about how much I love our band. If that counts... sweatdrop

LOL. XD We've been p'wned. Whenever I miss school, I make sure to come to band class and afterschool rehersals every time. If not, I'm screwed. Any summer activities must be scheduled around band. If I don't have a ride to rehersals, I walk. Even if it's miles away from school. I get excited to be the first to learn new drill. XD
