It isn't supposed to. But it can hurt if the girl is too dry or nervous. Lubrication and relaxation are a must. So make sure you do your research and understand your body before you have sex.

Depends on the girl/woman. It can be painful if a hymen is still present, or if the female is not lubricated enough as Lorien mentioned.
People often think that blood and pain are standard for a female losing her virginity, but they're not. I had no pain the first time I had sex... we were both really nervous, but we pulled it off using a condom and all went fine.
Lots of lubrication is really important, as is being as relaxed and comfortable as possible. smile

I don't think I've ever bled during sex, now that I think about it. If if I've bled, it's because I/my partner scratched me inside during foreplay, or something like that. sweatdrop

I agree with everyone else. Just wanted to add that knowing where your actual vaginal hole is and knowing how it should feel for something to slide inside of it is probably a good idea. If I had used tampons or expored with a finger before my first time, it would've made it much easier and probably wouldn't have hurt at all.

well it really depends on what you mean by hurt. it did kinda hurt coz there was a p***s in my hole xp but overtime it did feel good eek just use some lube and its probably gonna be fine heart

emeee First time for girls.... does it hurt??? Not if you are ready and do it right. Didn't hurt one bit for me since I was in love, my boyfriend and I talked about having sex well in advance, and my body makes good lube all by itself, haha.

Not gonna' lie, I was almost in tears.
My first mistake with my (at the time boyfriend, now husband) was that we tried to do it in the shower. We've been having sex for almost ten months now, and we still can't do it in the shower. Hurts too bad for me. So don't even attempt. xD
It's a lot easier if you're on top. That's basically how I had to lose mine, because with him in control, it was too awful.

Others like to be on bottom so they can relax and not have to do anything. And others are ready to experiment with other positions right from the start! xhe loved an a n g e l That's basically how I had to lose mine, because with him in control, it was too awful. That's generally a sign of being too tense, too dry, not in the mood enough, or any combination of those three things. When you are relaxed, wet, and in the mood, sex usually won't hurt in any position. And if it does, it's something you need to discuss with your ob-gyn to make sure everything looks ok down there.

my cherry was poppeed while i was being fingered, it hurt but it was bcuz there was no lube, just his spit and well me wet. tmi? sorry. and it hurt alittle the next few times but then it began to feeeel reaaaaaaaly good.
