I think Elements would be a good idea. There could be Blizzard, Fire, Thunder, and Earth.

How about supporting characters? You know like Belgemine from FFX or Robin Williams Cid Kramer from VIII

I say someone should go as a mix of many heroes from a set of FFs.
No one would expect a CloallironCecidan (basiclly its a mix of Cloud,Squall,Firion,Cecil,and Zidane all in one)
And if done right it could make the top 5.
