Okay, first off. I haven't had sex with my boyfriend for over 2 months. But there's a problem.. I'm bleeding when I pee. And I know its not my period because I don't have it untill the last week of each month. It burns down there to...Anyone know what this is??

Sounds like a urinary tract infection. They're very common. You can get them whether you're sexually active or not, but they are a bit more common if you're sexually active.
They usually go away on their own if you drink lots of water and cranberry juice and if you pee often. That will flush the bacteria out of your bladder.
But seeing a doctor is recommended. Because it's good to make sure that's what you actually have. And even though most UTIs go away without a problem, they can sometimes spread to the kidneys and become serious. So getting antibiotics from a doctor is a good idea.

If you go to the emergency care center they usually can write you out a fast prescription, I've had about 4 UTIs and they are BITCHES!!! They usually don't last too long though, washing regularly and wiping front to back helps keep them in check. I also drink cranberry juice to try and prevent them=)

Locking this because it's an old thread. Please don't bump up old threads once they're several months old. Chances are they've been resolved already.
