A New Legend; And New Problems
Long ago, Parents use to the a story of the zodiacs. Not the story from Fruits Basket. This story was a terrible story. A story about greed and the need for more power. You see, the story goes that there was a great power known as God that didn’t just created the Zodiacs. He created branches of each Zodiac. He used their power to make his greater. When the Animals realized they were being used, they ran away, hoping to never be found. This made the ‘God’ mad and he tried to take away their power.
Luckily, the Zodiacs were able to give their powers to a special human of their own choice. Everything went find for a long time. The Zodiacs and the ‘God’ living forever, both powerless.
Then, the God found out about the Humans. Now, he lives to track them down and bring all of them together, only to destroy them and take their powers. At first, he captured one and killed them instantly. The God gained their power, but only until that person was reincarnated.
Now he knows, he must capture them all and kill them all at once. Now, it’s your turn. Don’t worry. You’re Zodiac will be there to protect you. And when you turn 16, your animal will help you control your power. Have fun.
The Deal With The Zodiacs
The Zodiacs are played by you, of course. But there are some things you should know. They may be Zodiacs, but they are seen by all. They speak, but are only heard by you. The size, gender, names, and personalities are up to you. This story has no exact ‘time’ but riding a Tiger or a giant Chicken may still be considered weird. Lol And the Zodiacs are animals at all times. They do not have human characteristics.

Accepted Profiles Username: lost in hopes Character Name: Anita Age: 19Gender: FemalePicture:Anita usually wears a long black coat with a large hood that makes her almost completely blend into Shadow’s fur.Personality: At first glance, she looks like a cold person. If you can get her to smile, she will warm up to you. If you get close, you’ll see she likes to smile and laugh and joke around. She tends to trust too easily, but that hasn’t gotten her into trouble yet.Background: Anita grew up in an orphanage. Her parents dropped her off there after a month with her. They said it was too hard for them. You see, Anita had a twin sister, Amy, who died while Anita’s mother was in labor.
In the orphanage, Anita made friends, but they later were adopted and left her there alone. No one seemed interested in her. Over the years, she got used to people coming and going and shrugged off the feeling of being alone. When she was 17, Amy appeared in Anita’s head. Amy told her everything. According to Amy, she had been with Anita’s parents the entire time until she found out about Anita and came looking for her. Now, as Doctors would say, she has a split personality. But she didn’t let that bother her. It made her time of being alone that much more bearable.
When she was 18, she had to leave the orphanage and that’s when she met Shadow, but Anita, and Amy, call him Shade. When Shadow and Anita got on good terms, Amy lead them to her parents. Anita was able to see them and hug them like she wanted to so many times before. Though she was happy to see them, she didn’t stay. Shade told her the true story of the zodiacs and she was with him on the decision to go and find the other Zodiacs. Weapon(s): Carried a large sword hidden on Shade‘s collar, 2 Knives around her waist, 2 Guns around her thighs and a dagger in her boot.Power(s): Can create shadow daggers in her hand at will, create a darkness cloud and disappear into it, can shoot black flames, and can heal herself and others ect.(Kinda like Raven from teen Titans)Extra(s): Sometimes, Anita can see Amy standing beside her like a real person, though she’s is not. Amy is like a mix between Anita’s ‘other’ side and a ghost.Zodiac Spirit: WolfSpirit’s Name: Shadow Gender: MalePicture: ShadowPersonality: Shadow is a little ‘nippy’ when it comes to strangers. Though he doesn’t have to heart to hurt anyone without a good reason. He’s very aware of the people around him and Anita. Though his human partners have come and gone, he feels a closer connection to Anita. Because of this, he’s very protective of her, especially around other guys. Also, he tends to get jealous.Power(s): Can run on black flames (even in the sky), disappear within it, and can breath black flames, ect. She tends to zone out occasionally, coming back with strange trains of thought that have nothing to do with anything. She's more than a little reckless. She can be sneaky when she wants to be. Over all, she's a pretty cheery person, not at all bothered by the hunt for the zodiacs. Background: Basil was essentially raised in the wilderness.Her parents were out of the picture at an early age,so she was raised by a small group of indeginous people. She grew up knowing the ways and rules of the jungle and its inhabitants.But of course,one day shortly after her sixteenth birthday, she encountered an animal, the likes of which she had not encountered before. A black leopard.This was her zodiac, of course, she didn't know that at the time. Upon their next meeting, he told her the story. At first, she believed him to be some sort of jungle god. Upon learning the story of the zodiacs, she, seeing an adventure in the idea, agreed to find the other zodiacs. Weapon(s): A mallet sort of hammer and a small hunting knife. Power(s): She can create thunderous booms using her hammer and happens to be very stealthy,though that's more a talent than a power. Extra(s): She tends to call Garaj, Bagheera. He doesn't seem to mind too much. Only when she shortens it to "Baggy". Zodiac: Leopard Spirit’s Name: Garaj Gender: Male Picture: By the broken lock that freed mePersonality: He is uptight and serious and takes things a little too seriously at times. He is quiet and calculating,much different from Basil. He takes careful time to plan things out since he knows Basil will not. He also tends to get frustrated with her attitude sometimes. Regardless, he does care about her, as he has a very caring side that rarely appears. In fact, Basil is usually the only one to see it. Power(s): He has the ability to disappear and pass through solid objects. He can also nearly deafen people with hit thunderous roars. Of course,that's not the only reason you should be afraid of him.He is a leopard. Extras: He may be a zodiac spirit,but he suffers from a condition known as melanism, coloring him all black instead of the usual spotted coat.
