Part One
Even after contracting Paris, and meeting with Sidonia, Teddy realizes life is back to it's rather dull routine.

The sun peeked behind buildings, rising slowly, and piercing through windows with it's blinding brilliance. Heads turned to avoid being disturbed by the sphere. Teddy on the other hand was awake and had been before any natural lighting had blessed this side of the planet. Darks circles were clearly visible beneath hazel eyes which stared blankly at the ceiling above. The paint above had begun to peel. Should he repaint it? Nah. Not like it really mattered. As a matter a fact, nothing mattered to the teenager at this very moment.

Well, except two things. Paris and his contract that binded him to the imp. Thoughts of how to achieve the goal had set up camp in his mind and refused to budge. Maybe smashing his skull repeatedly into a rough surface would do the trick? But even that required effort and energy. Teddy sighed, rubbed his eyes, and turned to his side. There, right beside him on his bed, was Paris. Grinning. Yup, smiling as always. " I'm tired of you. " Teddy announced dryly. " If you had a nose I'd blow all of my morning breath at you. But no, you have to be a total freak and just be...I don't even know. " Another sigh escaped chapped lips.

School.

The thought of having to lift is weary body from the mattress and begin the process of prepping up managed to squeeze in with sudden alert. A groan and a roll of the eyes Teddy wormed himself out his collection of silky smooth blankets. It was definetly a difficult task. Honestly, who could jump out of bed in total excitement to LEARN. Certainly not this young man. " Paris " The teen called out to his 'buddy', grabbing a brush placed on a nightstand. The imp remained silent but turned to the human's direction to show his acknowledgement. " You're coming with me to school, ya know? And uh...it'd be nice if you like, weren't uhhhh...." He paused and began to brush his wavy hair. " Like, you know. Don't be all visible. I'm sure you know that contracting demons isn't exactly something to be shared with people. "

Paris simply grunted.

Mornings in the Alexander household never failed to cast a calm atmosphere. Mostly due to the fact that Teddy was the only body who moved around in those hours. His parents remained in bed till a few hours after his departure to school, their day began a bit later. Teddy had grown accustomed to it all, experiencing this same exact morning for far too long. He hardly ever put any thought on what he did, just flowed about until it was time to make his way towards the exit. Though Paris's recent presence added a bit of...something. That something Teddy secretly, and would never admit, made him feel a bit more comfortable. Even if the damn thing said nothing at all.

" Come here you clump of meat. " Paris moved at a glacial speed towards Teddy's open arms. " Imma feed you and water that stupid stick real quick. After that you stay put and wait for me till I'm all ready to go. " The teenager spoke to Paris as he were a mindless animal. If he wasn't so calm he would have definitely snarled BUT for a demon he was surprisingly kind. Kinda.

Part Two
Paris decides to have a little bit of fun once the duo arrive to Teddy's school

" Now, remember what I said. Stay put, and do not make any noise. Don't even breath! " Teddy whispered into an open backpack, which contained a grinning Paris. Did the imp even breath? There was only a mouth on that smooth face of his. Unless that gob was also used for inhaling oxygen. Another question arose in the teenagers mind, how the hell did these damn things work? It appeared to Teddy that Paris only ate, ate, and ate. Nothing else seemed to be required for it to continue living. And yet again the male teen found himself questioning his actions. Maybe leaving Paris at home may have been a better idea....

Bing, bing, bing.

A bell's chime warned the children who remained scattered about in the front of the medium sized building to make their way to their classrooms. Teddy rolled his eyes at his partner before zipping up the bag and placing it on his back. Hazel eyes looked over the brick building, watching other students taking their seat behind dirty windows. This place was just so....dull. The hallways were all colored in such monotone colors. White, beige, white, beige, white, a never ending color combination. As for the Faculty who were in charge of guiding developing minds, they simply did not care. And his fellow peers were just as awful.

Well, all of this was true if you were Teddy.

In reality the place was quite acceptable. Professors taught what they had to teach, and the students simply learned. The atmosphere itself was relaxing. Yet all of this managed to become contorted and ugly to the young man.

Ugly.

All of it was just so ugly.

Teddy made his way into the building with ease, his eyes staring into oblivion. His feet already knew the way, he hardly had to think. Actually, it was easier for him NOT to think. None would annoy him if he appeared lifeless, right? Wrong. Teddy's mannerism managed to tickle plenty of people's pickles. Much to his displeasure. What was it about cold, detached, passionless, uninvolved that screamed AWESOME? It was all a mystery to him. " Good morning Teddy! " A rather chipper, round faced classmate greeted the boy. " Go away. " Was Teddy's response as he dodged the other who blocked his way. " Haha! You're so funny Teddy! " His classmate laughed, but his eyes darted side to side to see if anyone had noticed the not so friendly response.

Seats became occupied, attendance was taken, and a lecture had begun. A long, tiresome lecture of a topic Teddy could care less about. That exact attitude could basically sum up his outlook on life. For someone so young to be so bored already. Maybe there was some sort of dysfunction in his brain? A chemical imbalance? Maybe. But that would wait till later, he was growing tired. Crossing his arms on the desk top as a makeshift pillow Teddy finally drifted to sleep.

Paris on the other hand remained awake and after sensing that his contract partner had fallen into a deep slumber decided to make a great escape. A slow escape. What would be his destination? The location did not matter just as long as the results included a riled up Teddy.
