Thanks for the links. I've never seen the word lingo one before, but I'll be sure to try it out.

I also know of a good online English to Japanese, Japanese to English dictionary. I use it all the time. Here's the link!

This isn't really a site but a program. It's not fancy or anything, but it gets the job done. It's called "Japanese Learning Suite." If anyone wants the link to download it free, PM me.
I can also provide links to popular ebooks for learning Japanese, in .pdf format. Such as Japanese For Busy People 1-3.

Two sites that I find extremely useful:
WWWJDIC - A very versatile Japanese dictionary for looking up words from english, japanese, and kanji.

Read the Kanji - Super awesome site to help reading recognition based on the 4 levels of the JLPT, kana, and idioms.

I would like to add: http://www.Japanese-lesson.com for learning kana. It's very good for Hiragana, but it's a little annoying with Katakana. I still learned to read katakana from this site. The kanji portion is unfinished, but somewhat useful.

This site is great for example sentences and definitions if you have a way of reading the kana and kanji: http://tangorin.com/ Also, if there's anything you don't understand, click on it and it can help.

I'm still a beginner, but here's some very useful tools I've been using.

thejapanesepage, I used a combination of this and wikipedia to learn the kana and the stroke order for each kana. I did start with the hirigana, and the katakana second.

kanateacher, this is great for practicing how well you can recall the kana.

kanjirepeater, I haven't used this much yet, but am about to. I plan on using it's convenient links to wikipedia to learn more about each kanji, including stroke order.

rikaichan, this is a very useful dictionary addon for firefox. I don't know how many people use firefox, but this is a great addon to consider, though it does require a download I believe (it's been a while since I started using it).

www.guidetojapanese.org - This site is useful with grammar :]

www.imabijapaneselearningcenter.com - This is my preferred site for grammar :3 It's easier to understand & breaks things down more so than the previous site :]

www.smart.fm - This is a very useful site for learning new vocabulary :] It has a TON of books you can choose to learn from :]

www.livestation.com - A place where you can literally watch channels from all over the world. Immerse yourself into Japanese television ^-^

http://kanji.sljfaq.org/kanjivg/ - A nifty sight that shows you the correct & amount of strokes for hiragana/katakana/kanji
