3D FILMS IS IT REALLY WORTH IT?
The out-coming of AVARTAR in 2009 has brought a 3D back, majorly. now every film thats been out are all being 3d and some that just signed on paper and promised in 2011 are allready say "We will do our next movie in 3D."

But is 3D ALWAYS the best option? the fact that AVARTAR was beautifully graphic and majorly animated worked very will with the film.

But the directors and post produaction has seemed to forgot that what really make a film WORTH seeing is the storyline and chararters.

im starting to think that 3D thing is getting out of hand. if people are keep doing this will the price of films go up....becouse if you think about it DOSE make sences.

anyhow its your turn now people - Tell us what you think

Personally, I think it'll all depend on the movie. If it's a movie like Avatar[Haven't seen it], then sure.As long as they don't go over board with it. Though, I think it'd be cool to see a GOOD horror/thriller movie in 3D.

But with some animated movies with 3D, I don't think it really matters.Cause...It...Doesn't...Add as much effect.

Then...TV's capable of 3D abilities... B| Just no.

Your time now well wasted

Well you have the option to use 3D or not so you can be the judge. Plus the 3D glasses(around here) used can be recycled and you can take them home to reuse over and over so it's not like its a big waste to the environment.

Yes thats true but its not what im thinking for. with 3d films the prices are sure to go up. and its mostlly pointless couse its missing storyplots and chararters.

I think they tend to count on the 3D to wow the audience to that they don't realize how crappy the movie really is. I probably wouldn't have enjoyed Avatar nearly as much if it wasn't in 3D. I probably would have fallen asleep in Alice in Wonderland if it wasn't in 3D. I would rather see something that actually has a point than something that looks cool. Now if they could manage both, that would be awesome.

3Ds wow effect won't last long though. People are starting to expect movies to be in 3D. Once they got used to it, they are going to have to stare hiring good writers or at least ripping off movies or books that are worth the effort.

thats what im talking about ^^ thank you.
But unlike you AVARTAR to me was fantastic. A step in a Dream world ahh.... amazing.....

the 3d seem to becoming more and more into children films. as long as the adults watch the other stuff, maybe things will turn back to normal.

There is one more point that i want to add. a place/store here where i live has just put out 3D tv. Somehow i just think that sort of thing wont work that well in the long run. what happen if you play playstation/x-box games on it....not that im into thoses games....just that everything is force to be 3D. and when stuff like that force to do something that its not made for in the first time things.....break.
