When all great or helpful things must end. When all the good things you've experienced somewhere have to end, because you have to move on to something greater, something more. Of course life isn't fair, and the things you feel you'd like to continue doing...you just don't have time anymore.
It is those simplicities, those short revelries that many of you will come to miss, just as I will after delivering this "short" speech. Those distant, fun memories of when you could be a kid, and do childlike things without a care, you'll look back on those times, and be jealous of yourselves.
However, life doesn't let you be that way for long. Times change, new problems come into the big equation of life, and you find yourself struggling to keep up from what was normally simple addition and subtraction turning into a multi step, exponent PEMDAS trapezoid angle theorem problem to the billionth power, and you find those old, childhood hobbies slipping away because you just don't have the time anymore.
If you haven't been able to tell what the purpose of my writing this is, I may as well just come out and say it. Tamer Island, this is my goodbye, and the REAL one this time. I'm not going to sneak in one some other account again under your noses because I did something stupid that I, in all essence, did out of pure stupidity and arrogance at a young age.
I've posted and been an active to semi active member here for two years and two months now. I wish I could go back to eighth grade and relive it all over again, but providence will never be that kind. Back in the day, I was probably one of the most active members in this guild, and I would go so far as to say that I may have been the MOST active for a span of time. I devoted a ton of my time to this guild-almost every waking hour-because I had nothing to lean on in real life.
To put it bluntly, you guys, at that time, were the nicest, most caring people I'd ever met. And that was over the internet. Those were dark times for me, and it was because of those of you who were around back then that I pulled through it.
I couldn't tell you the amount of times Grandwing probably wanted to tear my throat from my body because of the stupid things I did, but in return, I feel that I helped this guild along in return.
Alas, as I've stated previously, my time here, as most of the guilds I'm in at the moment, is up. I'm turning sixteen in five days, and not only is it that I don't have the time anymore, I also have to move on. I have such a deficit of free time at the moment that it's impossible to tell if I'll ever be able to post even a tenth as actively as I used to on Gaia. Hell, if I manage to come on daily, I'd be surprised.
To those old and new in this guild, I wish you all the best of luck, and condolences if I've caused you a problem in my long standing reign (Hehe...reign) here in this guild. And to you, Grandwing, congratulations on putting up with this annoying a** for nearly two and a half years! biggrin
Catch you later, Tamer Island.
For the final time, ~The_Epic_Muffin

I know we don't know each other but it is always sad to see a fellow tamer go. Also you must actually give a dang about the guild to write a goodbye letter like that, too few tamers that are a part of this guild are active enough to be seen posting in the forums. May the soverigns guide you in your future endevors. I would be honored to care for your partners. Even though we don't know each other.

I can't give my digimon away. I tried to give them away once, it just doesn't work. My digimon will go with me.

Epic. It has been... well... Epic knowing you. I remember back when our character first met. And you tore off my arm. Those were some good times. I hope you remember DTI fondly. And that you enjoy where the rest of life takes you.
Farewell.

I'll be taking my leave now. For those of you who have yet to read this, I won't be able to read your goodbyes if you post them.
Draco, I hereby pin my responsibilities on you and Toan. A year ago or so, I was one of the most respected members in this guild. I had nearly twenty five (Methinks)digimon, and I was probably one of the most active.
Why? I was random as s**t. That is now your and Toan's responsibility. Toan can't say no, I brought him here in the first place.
Later.

No! XD Wait for my goodbye! XD
Epic, I'll really miss you while you're gone. From when I first joined the guild and you were my role model, to when I won my first digimon in your contest, to just chatting with you a bit in the Tamer forums, to DBC 1 when you were on my team and I got to know you all over again as another account, and especially between the DBCs and in the second one when we led DD together. I will miss you a lot, but I totally understand why you are leaving. Good luck with your future! ^^

Damn... I have responsibilities now... I have to be random... This might be harder then I thought.
But I will do my best my Captain. This will be a new age for DTI! One that will Echo in this past greatness.
