It'd taken her a lot of thought to come to this point, the decision about whether or not she felt right asking a younger male out on a date. Sure, he was mature for his age and she'd spent plenty of time with him already, but it was a little strange. And after her last boyfriend, Ebony very much wondered if dating was at all worth the headache of dealing with a teenager who couldn't make up his mind.

She'd eventually had to reason that Bovidae was very different than Vincent had been in several great respects. Firstly, one was pride while the other was humility, and she'd long since found that she meshed well with almost anyone of Enki's bloodline, the demon himself included. Secondly, she would be asking him, rather than the other way around. Vinny had been asking her out of nervous pressure and she'd been a girl he'd only seen once and thought was pretty. There had been some actual getting to know each other time with her and Bovi and she'd grown to think he was actually worth her time as more than a friend.

The teen was charming, handsome, and sweet, which were plenty of qualification for a girl just starting to figure out what she wanted in life. So, she'd decided to be spontaneous. Her hair was its natural black hue and her wings their fluffy white, preferring to go natural and wear only some lipgloss in the way of makeup tonight. Her jewelry was simple and her clothing was attractive without being too slutty. The look was sleek but casual, which was probably best for a spontaneous date request - after all, she didn't want him to have to rush to get ready when she surprised him.

She knocked lightly at Stace's door and waited, hoping this was not a ridiculous idea on the whole. Her only date had been an arrangement by phone with a very nervous boy who'd had absolutely no idea what he was doing, so etiquette on how to do this was a little missing. At they very least, she'd get to say hi to him and Ballare and meet their mother, which couldn't be so bad.

"Hello!" she greeted Stacie pleasantly, smiling at the woman and about to explain her business when she spotted a little deer boy who recognized her.

Immediately, Ebony leaned down to give Ballare a hug and grinned. "Hey kiddo!" she said, petting his hair, before smiling up at Stacie, "Yep, that was me. He was very good. You've got two very fine sons, ma'am."

Inside, she glanced around the house a little, curious, but mostly focused on chatting with the little boy while she waited for Bovi to come down.

"Have you been being good, Bal?"

"Well I came over to see if Bovi wanted to go out today." the girl responded, taking up her seat on the couch.

"Hey Ballare, want to see a magic trick?" she asked, a big smile on her face. It was still the only one she could do right but he still might like it.

"That's fine!" Ebony told Stace with a smile, "I was just showing Ballare a magic trick."

Carefully she held up her hands, showing the boy that she had nothing in them and obviously no sleeves to hide things in. The girl waved them around a few times and suddenly seemed to pull a large silver dollar from no where. "Tada!" she said, offering it to him. The trick wasn't done, but he didn't need to know that.

Ebony laughed and said, "Hey, what's this?" and reached out, plucking the coin as well as a second one from behind Ballare's large ears. "Have you been hiding coins on me, hm, Ballare?"

The girl laughed at that, pulling Ballare into a hug. "you are a silly, silly boy." she told him before putting the two coins in the palms of his hands. "Here, get yourself a treat of sorts."

Ebony waved back to the little boy before standing and approaching to help Bovi get his shoulder spikes out of the hole right. "I came over to see if you wanted to go out with me - on a date."

"Dinner and Dancing?" she suggested with a smile, taking his arm lightly.
