History: The youngest of the twins, Alaria was also the smallest. She spent the majority of her infancy either just getting over being sick or sick period. As such, she wasn’t expected to survive into childhood, and her parents became more and more elated as she reached the various milestones in childhood development, often times quicker than her twin.
She is her brother’s shadow and his voice of reason most of the time, though being so small, she often finds herself roped along with his cockamamie plans and often found herself in the same amount of trouble as he was, though usually people realized that it wasn’t her fault that her brother had come up with the plan and she could get off more often than naught.
When her brother was recruited to the beastcraft by their father, she began spending more time inside with her mother, helping with her younger brothers and sisters. Because of this, she started learning her mother’s healer’s skills to help tend to the scrapes and cuts the younger kids often got. She doesn’t have a stomach for larger cuts though, and like her brother, doesn’t share the passion for her mother’s craft and dreams about becoming a dragonrider.

Appearance: Almost everything about Alaria is, in a word, petite. Unlike her brother, at fourteen she stands at only 5’1” and potentially may reach 5’3” in height, is less developed than other girls her age despite having hit puberty. Having been a sickly baby, she maintains some of those features, as she is rather pale and gaunt. She has brown hair that is light enough in shade that it could be considered blonde if it had the warmth and depth of yellowness to it, but instead is just a very pale mousey brown and it’s perpetually braided state has left it thin and permanently kinked. It reaches about as far as she can reach when she reaches over her shoulder. The most prominent feature is her nose, which is disproportionately large given her diminutive size. Her eyes are perhaps the only attractive feature that she has as a young adolescent are her eyes, which are a dark brown with a slightly paler shade of green rimming the irises, and could be considered hazel with some stretch of the imagination.

Personality: Alaria is a sweet natured girl, though very naïve and fiercely loyal to those she sees as her friends. She often takes things at face value, which can make her seem narrow-minded and stubborn when in reality it’s just her system of making social interactions more manageable. She has a fear of letting those she cares for out of her sight, which often translates itself into a fear of being alone. A very nervous child, she often has the habit of disappearing to any place that has running water when uncomfortable as the sound makes her feel secure. Her gentle personality lends her for a talent of taking care of minor wounds, though anything larger than a nasty scrape makes her faint. Despite all this though, she had a deep set strength that helps her get through situations and problems no worse for wear.
Alaria can be seen as a bit of a coward. When the search rider came for her friend, Alaria was scared stiff of the large dragon, if only for the reason that the image of being swallowed whole kept her from seeing reason and knowing that the dragon was as likely to swallow her whole as to eat a bubbly pie.

Again, and since I didn't mention it here in her profile, I've changed her location of origin from Sothern Boll to that strip of coast in Telgar's Territory. She is also not a ranked healer, which is why I said that she had no formal rank, but I took this off for conveniences sake.

Again, bolded the two things I saw as personality flaws besides her being a coward.

And she is not sick anymore. When I say she still retains those appearances means that, since she never really had any baby fat, she still looks particularly gaunt for her age (when most girls and boys still have some of their baby fat and have rounder appearances). She's fully healthy, nearly as active as her brother, but a bit more cowardly than he is.

Alright, I'll keep this in mind. Again, I need a few hours to think of something since I'm going to that concert.
