Can't say much... but I'm trying to guess what types each may be. Lol.
The far right one looks like a water type, since its arms are flat-looking, along with the tail.
The top one looks like a pig with a pair of leaves sticking on its head. xD
The other looks like a slimer version Charmander with the head of Cyndaquil.

 I think it goes, left to right, grass fire water. Unless they really shift it up, and have completely different starting element types. o.o;;

I have a feeling many people are going to be very disappointed when these games come out. I'm already upset with that fact that the pokemon no longer follow you in the game.

Lol I guess all we really can do is hope. I'm already not too fond on Zoroark...I mean really its a giant mole thing with a ponytail....why the hell does it have a ponytail lol

idk how it goin to look but hey new pokemon or not it goin to help me grow better as a trainer. i think the one on the bottom left is a fire type. for some reason they always show a flame for the fire pokemon. so it got to be. the pig looking one seem to be water. remind me of marill and the other one got to be grass. but who knows like some one else said. they might change everything.

Ehh...They look kinda stupid to be honest. I haven't really liked all the starters since the first generation (I do not like Totodile. He's like the retarded cousin of water starters. Design-wise at least. Also, I don't like the evolved forms of all three 3rd gen. starters. Blaziken in particular.).
Hopefully, once they release an image that's more than just silhouettes, they'll look a little better (maybe kinda sorta). But at the moment, no.
Also, I'm thinking they're grass, fire, water, left to right.

Yeah.. but every region has pokemon I can't stand.
Kanto - Magikarp
Johto - Sunflora
Hoenn - Just about all of them.. I'll say Pelliper
Sinnoh - Bibarel
But.. each region also has Pokemon I LOVE..
Kanto - Just about everyone.. I'll say, Ninetails
Johto - Just about everyone.. I'll say, Donphan
Hoenn - Some good ones.. I'll say, Gardevoir
Sinnoh - Alot of good ones, Weavile >3
So I'm sure there will be some choice pokemon in this version too. But from the looks of the starters.. I'll transfer a Squirtle over.. if it's permitted... they might not be compatible... crying

Also, I want to wait and see what the starters look like before making an opinion. Frankly, I haven't been happy with the design choices after R/B/G/Y, but I've learned to deal, and I've learned to like them.

They look like rip offs of Chimchar, Turtwig, and Piplup... Does anyone else not see that they look similar to the Sinnoh staters?
