Tykier walked up to Lira's home. Today, he was going to take her to dinner somewhere special. Tykier was dress in a semi-formal way: white button shirt, and black pants. The young man walked up to the door, and knocked on it three times.

The idea of expecting something was a very foreign concept to the Patience child, but Lira found that she was very... antsy waiting for Tykier to come and pick her up. Her friend had offered to take her out to dinner, supposedly to cheer her up, and as confusing as it made her feel, she didn't feel like it would be polite to decline. Besides, she did need her share of cheering up.
When she heard the door knocking, she grinned despite herself and rushed to the door. "Ty! Hi!" she said with a grin, looking radiant in a very lacy dark-purple dress that reached to about her knees and matching heels. Checking once again to make sure that she had left her note for her parents to tell them where she was, she stepped outside the door, blushing very adorably. "So, uh, sh-shall we go then? Oh, um, you look nice," she added with a half-smile.

He was quite surprised when the door flew open. He blushed when he saw Lira in the dress. "Yeah... Um... So do you..." The young man gulped, but shook his head out of the clouds. Gently interlocking his hand with hers, Ty lead Lira to his car, and opened the passenger side door. This was the first time he has ever actually asked someone out, but he felt like he was doing good so far.

Lira couldn't help but giggle at Tykier's adorable blushing! He was so freaking cute! Blushing as well, she smiled gleefully at him, Jake swishing back and forth a little uncomfortably. He was just as nervous as she was.
Jumping a little when Ty grabbed her hand, Lira squeezed it out of reflex, mind spinning from all of this... romanticness. She had never seen herself doing this with anyone, not even Aludra, and it was a very nice change. Very nice indeed. She gracefully sat inside his car, biting back more nervous giggles. "So, uh, wh-where are you taking me, Ty?"

The young man smiled, "It's a surprise..!" Tykier helped her get situated, and went to the other side of the car. He opened the door, and sat in the driver's seat. Placing the keys into the ignition, he turned it, and the car purred to life. Tykier carefully got out of the driveway, and on the road.

About 20 minutes later, they arrived at a restaurant. Red Lobster. Tykier smiled at Lira, "How's this..?"

Lirona giggled and blushed as Tykier refused to tell her where they were going, nodding from behind her hand and going along with the game. Her heart was doing a tap dance in her chest as she watched the nighttime whizz by, elated by the happenings of tonight. She was actually going on a date; a DATE! And for once she wasn't pining over Aludra. It was practically a miracle, and one she was intensely grateful for Ty for initiating. To think someone could actually know about her... himness and still be interested...
A slow smile grew on her face when she saw the restaurant, and she turned to Ty happily. "Um, pretty much perfect. I love seafood. How did you know?" Sure, it wasn't the most expensive thing in the world, but it was totally the thought that counted in this case. No one had ever done something so sweet for her...

Tykier looked down at the floorboards, "I'm sorry if it's not one of those expensive seafood places... Um... And Adhara told me that you liked seafood." The young man smiled. Unbuckling his seat belt, he got out of the car, walked over to Lira's side, and opened her door.

Lirona smiled warmly and gently batted Ty's shoulder as he apologized unnecessarily. "Don't be sorry, silly. It's sweet." Her smile grew wider for seemingly no reason at all; she couldn't help being charmed by the older spawn's awkwardness. It was so adorable!
Stepping out gracefully for someone in such long heels, Lira tentatively held onto Ty's arm as the pair walked to the restaurant, glancing down as they waited to be seated. What happens now? She had never been on a date before; what do you talk about?! Gnawing at her lip for a moment, she shyly let a sentence venture out into the air. "So... I read To Kill A Mockingbird. You were right, it was really good."
