Someone sent me this awesome link (http://www.conveythis.com/translation.php) where you put in a phrase and it translates it through a bunch of different languages and finally back to English, resulting in things getting very lost in translation.

Post your results here, or just post funny google translate translations xD

When you see that the mess-up occurs when there is a translation to a non-Romanized alphabet. ><

From me
I do not live in Scotland -> I live in Scotland.

Why is there no draconian toast on my lithium motor car? -> Natural language?

Personally I hope that the little bird survives. Oh look, it's so cute with its little red head and orange belly! -> My head and my beautiful red, they hope the orange belly!

Bad translator! -> Teapot.

From Dante
Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. -> Transport or, if you wish. But grief or pain.

From 4chan
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? -> With this approach, of course.

From Tolkien

Perilous to us all are the devices of an art deeper than we possess ourselves. -> It is difficult, I hope this list.

Strangely, when it comes to using translators with Vietnamese, things almost always comes out accurate or close to accurate. When I used to go to Vietnamese school (before I stopped going because the age cut-off was 18 and they told my mom we would have to take Vietnamese classes at university if we wanted to continue) and we had to write essays, I did most of my essay writing using a translator (powered by Google) on Vdict.com. Except for some words here and there that turned out to be incredibly outdated, I almost always ended up getting an A on my essay papers with no grammatical errors at all. o_o; It's really strange.
