More details at the official Pokemon page!

Fresh off the release of the Yellow Route comes the Winner's Path route for Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver! It's available over the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection from May 6th until June 25th!

This time around, they were nice enough to include the route's info for us:

Pokemon - Held Item - Steps - Rarity
Munchlax - Leftovers - 8,000 - Very High
Beldum - Shuca Berry - 8,000 - High
Horsea - Dragon Scale - 3,000 - Low
Duskull - Reaper Cloth - 3,000 - Low
Bronzor - Wacan Berry - 0 - Very Low
Magikarp - Occa Berry - 0 - Very Low

NOTE: According to the site, you can sometimes find a Munclax that knows Selfdestruct and a Magikarp that knows Bounce (the only flying type move that Gyarados can learn). Also, note that Horsea and Duskull are holding the items needed to fully evolve them! Both those items are somewhat rare in most of the games!

Item - Steps - Rarity
Focus Sash - 10,000 - Very High
Choice Scarf - 9,000 - Very High
Choice Band - 8,000 - Very High
Choice Specs - 7,000 - Very High
Power Herb - 6,000 - Very High
White Herb - 5,000 - Very High
Sitrus Berry - 2,000 - High
Lum Berry - 1,000 - High
Persim Berry - 500 - Low
Chesto Berry - 0 - Very Low

I just got 3 Bronzor for now. Hopefully when I go off to scroll again I will meet others. Maybe I should scroll for many days on end.

There are two things you should check, Miss: the number of steps and they type of pokemon you're walking with! Some pokemon won't appear if you don't have the right type, and if you haven't reached the right amount of steps, they won't appear at all!

Try using Pokemon of an opposing type from the one you're trying to catch. For exampe, in the Yellow Route, Geodude (Rock versus Electric) gave me Pikachus that knew a lot of cool moves, whereas pokemon weak to electricity gave me normal, weaker Pikachus.
