The Introduction Lucifel and Nathaniel were simply minding their own business, doing their own things in their separate lives. No where near each other.
Somehow, some way, this crazy orb that looks suspiciously like a giant bubble floats on over to you. No matter how you try to avoid it, no matter what you do to stay away (this is if you even try to stay away), it persistently follows you! One way or another, whether it was your doing or the bubble's doing, it pops on you!
Suddenly, you're somewhere else! Is it a dream? Hum, maybe. Hey, who is that other person there with you? Wait a minute...where the heck are you?!The Scenario You wake up on a deck in front of the absolutely coolest Pirate Ship in existence. There seems to be about twenty pirates in front of you, staring at you like they're expecting something.
What is it?
Well, it seems the Pirates are in need of a Captain...and after a rather long, oddly democratic series of eliminations, you and your opponent are the last two! Whoever wins over the majority of the Pirates wins the title of Captain!
There don't seem to be any rules to this contest at all...but I guess that makes sense, they ARE pirates, after all.Rules and Dice Rolls Rules ---> Due to Lucifel's Lucky nature and Nathaniel's innate knack for swaying people's opinions, please roll 1 (one) 4-sided dice at the beginning of this Blind Date. Whatever number you land on will be added to the regular rolls from here on out. (Ex: rolled a 3, and your first round to convince a pirate, you rolled a 14...but including your 'luck/sway' roll, you actually rolled a 17, yay!) ---> Roll 1 20-sided dice with every post where you try to win over a Pirate. ---> The first person to win over eleven of the Pirates is named the winner and becomes Captain. ---> What happens after this is up to you; you may sail for a bit of you like! Go on an adventure, it's all up to you! ---> Once the new Captain decides they want to go home, the RP ends. They'll 'wake up' in the place they were before the bubble popped on them. ---> This is a dream, but they will remember it clearly, just like they had met for real!
Dice Rolls Remember, this is 1 20-sided dice!
1: The Pirate seems to hate you. You should give up and come back later. (Miss a dice rolling turn). 2-9: The Pirate seems bored, and decides to ignore you instead. 10-15: The Pirate seems interested in what you said/did/offered, but doesn't really do anything else. 16-19: The Pirate seems interested in what you said/did/offered, but needs some more convincing. After a while, you convince them, and they put their vote to you! 20: You win over the Pirate with no difficulties what-so-ever!

"Bubble! Bubble!" Lucifel chirped. She'd been through this once before with the bubble however at this particular moment that hadn't occurred to her yet.
It was funny how it just floated there... Most bubbles did their best to get away from everything. Lucifel always figured it was because they didn't want to be popped.
After several seconds of staring at it curiosity got the better of her. Wondering if it was really a bubble or just something else she reached out to touch it.
*POP*
Lucifel rubbed her eyes before opening them. She found herself on a wooden surface, strangely a lot like the cafe stage. However, unlike the stage being steady, this surface was swaying.
Though the pirates were disgruntled about something at least they were smiling... That was a good thing considering Lucifel didn't want to be part of the dinner menu.

The Bubble had been a source of desperate entertainment for Nate. From the moment it showed up while he was making his brothers action figures "fly", he knew one thing: he simply HAD to play with it, then once he got bored with bouncing it and jumping on it, he simply decided to do what Bubbles were supposed to do: Pop the sucker! He tried the sharp part of his blocks, his brother's action figures (such abuse the poor Amazing Man took when Leo wasn't there to defend him), even a toy fork before simply giving up and walking away...Before a very loud POP could be heard!
Standing on a wood floor that didn't look at all like the carpeted room of his bedroom the little red boy was surrounded by scary awesome guys with eyepatches and peg legs and..."Pirates!" Nate said happily, before seeing a little green girl.
"Hey! Hey! PIRATES!" Nate said, pointing at one of the more gruff looking ones.
***ROLLING***
The gruff one looked down at the red boy. He didn't seem very interested in the excited plastic cup boy.

((I apologize. For some reason I cannot edit or delete posts... I rolled a 14. Adding 4. Makes 18. 16-19: The Pirate seems interested in what you said/did/offered, but needs some more convincing. After a while, you convince them, and they put their vote to you!))
"I be good Pirate Captain," Lucifel chirped.
They all looked at her like she was crazy.
"Few baths, lots of looting, and good eats just for starters..." Lucifel grinned and bounced in place. She still was unsure what was going on but hey just go with it. They wanted a captain... couldn't be that hard of a thing.
After much consideration one of the pirates stepped forward. "I vote her," he grumbled.
"Awesome!" Lucifel cheered.
