Ryuusei was out again, needed to find his missing thing, something that was starting to drive the little dragon a bit batty. He was sleepy but he was at least happy with the fact that he had picked up the ability to float around recently. Walking everywhere with his tiny legs meant that he couldn't really cover as much ground as he would like. So once he was able to learn his floating skill he was able to get around much quicker, learn much more, see much more... but had yet to find what he was missing.

The dragon gave a wide yawn that showed many sharp teeth before he turned to find a massive bubble, in comparison to his tiny form, following along after him. That was... odd... he turned around to face it, hovering in the air, his tail ended tail started to swish in a slow manner. What... was this? He moved toward it, nosing the bubble before floating a little higher and started to bounce on it. It was great fun, bounce... bounce... bounce... POP! The iridescent bubble suddenly burst under his feet and the world seemed to go dark for a moment before he found himself standing on what looked like a massive checker board. He floated down and settled on his tiny feet and starred up the huge board in front of him watching the ladders and the slithering snakes that were both there as well.

"Hrm...?" He looked from side to side before his eyes went huge seeing the sign. Beat your opponent to the top and get the best thing ever the sign boasted and he found himself lifted his head to look up toward the top, "Ahh..." The best thing ever? His eyes got wide as it clicked, his missing thing?! It was up at the top? He gave a gasping sound as he rushed forward toward the start grabbing up the tiny bag that had his name on it, filled with strange plush balls. He had to hold it in his mouth since he was already carrying an important bag on his back.

He stopped as he reached the base before looking around. He needed an opponent didn't he? Without it he wasn't going to be able to play the game, "Hello! Is Opponent out there?" He called out, hoping the one called opponent would show up so that the game could start. He wanted to get going with the game!

"Bug?" Ryuusei asked, shuffling closer to her and gazed up at the girl, head tilting to the side in a curious manner. That was a neat name he thought to himself with a bright smile before his tail set to wagging behind him, "I'm Ryuusei!" He chirped... then starred in a very confused manner when she mentioned that she didn't want him to eat her? His dark eyes got a bit wide before he set to giggling a little. Him? Eat her?

He shook his head quickly, "Naw! I prefer Happy Meals." He told her before he looked up toward the top of the wall that was in front of him, "Are you here to play the game to try to win the 'best thing ever' as well, Bug?" He asked of the blond girl. She wasn't named Opponent but maybe she was an opponent? He hoped so, that meant that they could start the game!

Ryuu looked up at the game board in a thoughtful manner, "I... don't know." He murmured, not sure if she had to play or not. He didn't think he could play alone since he didn't know if he would be allowed to have the prize, "I... think you need to play. I need someone to play against after all." He told her before he started to trot forward, starring at the game more closely before giving her a smile.

"How about I go first?" He said, ready to take his chances, however slim they might be, at getting to the top of the game board to reach whatever the best thing ever was! He hurried forward to make his first leap of faith into the game. Maybe if he went first the bug girl would get braver?

The little dragon was able to make it, barely, onto the first of the ladders and he set to climbing up it though it did look rather odd to see a teeny tiny dragon climbing a ladder with a bag full of not so dangerous balls in his grasp.

Ryuusei looked down at the girl as she made her ump and he smiled down at her, clapping his tiny hands togehter, "Good jump, Bug Girl!" He called to her when he finally made it to the top of his ladder and made a flying leap to the next one and landed on it with a little sighing sound of delight when he landed on the next ladder this time without to much of an issue.

He drew in a deep breath before he quickly started to make his way up the ladder that he'd landed on. Now that he thought about it he realized he couldn't float... it seemed that the game had canceled that power for him to keep him from cheating likely. Not that he wanted to cheat but it was to bad, it meant if he meant he was going to fall on a snake... he hope that they didn't try to eat him. He wouldn't voice his thought out loud since the girl looked unhappy over being near to the snakes.

Ryuu's eyes got a bit wide when he heard the girl's voice, she seemed suddenly... angry at him. He starred down at her, eyes wide before he gave a whimper, "I... I'm sorry..." He said as he crawled up to the top of the ladder. He starred down at the angry little blond before he gave another flying leap onto the next ladder. Once more it was a landing that he'd barely made. In fact for a moment he was dangling there above the writhing snakes. He shivered and pulled himself up on to the bottom rung of the ladder he'd landed on, starred at the bug girl and started to race up the ladder as quickly as his little feet would carry him.

He only relaxed when he got to the top of the ladder, dragging in a deep breath, steadying breath. He was glad to be up here and glad to put space between himself and Bug as the girl didn't seem to like him... it was something that made Ryuu want to cry. He didn't do anything to upset her... so why didn't she like him?

The girl appeared to miss her jump which, somehow, had Ryuu feeling a little glad. He was safe after all with her way down there and him way up here, he wasn't sure what he'd done to get her ire on him but he wanted to keep as much space between them as possible. As such he set to racing up the ladder that he was on and took a flying jump from the top of the ladder he'd been on to the next one. He squeaked as he missed but was able to catch himself with his tail. He hung there for a moment before pulling himself up on the ladder and gave a sigh of relief when he got half way up this ladder, settling down so that he could catch his breath.

"Hey! Bug girl!" Ryuu yelled down at Bug when he saw her collapse, eyes going rather wide in shock. He was starring at her, surprised. She had... fallen over, was she alright?! He debated going down to where she was, hesitated, then set to climbing up instead. While he was tempted to go down and make sure that she was alright he was a little worried that it was fake... what if she was tricking him to come down so she could get her hands on him? She was a scary girl and she seemed angry at him so... he didn't want to risk getting caught by her.

He watched her for a moment before scrambling up his current ladder to hop to the next one up. He landed on the bottom rung, just barely, and then hurried set to climbing again. He was happy when he got to to the top of this ladder and once more settled down there to catch his breath.
