For a 110HP four wheel drive vehicle it is bad to be stock.

well if it starts and runs great that's great. but...I always try to stay away from old cars...the only one I would want is a old z car...but that's it.

It only has 48K on it, and these things are known to routinely go to 500K under good maintenance. That and they don't make them like they used to anymore.

Personally I think you should be happy to have a vehicle, regardless of whether it's stock or mod. It'll get you places and if cared for right it'll do a world of good.. Gorgeous paint job btw. Also to comment on not liking older cars, atleast they're dependable.. Everyone I know out here loves old cars. Personally nothing beats an old steel tank like a 1970 Ford F150. I might not know much about cars but I know when they were made right..

I'm not looking to do anything extreme, just to make it more capable and to fix some design flaws from the factory (the rear springs were not designed for the weight of the hard top).
